I heard there was some kind of reimbursement for unlearned recipes? is this true?
Recipie reimbursement
yeah it would have been nice if they put the complete update in the release notes. i still have no idea about this
Basically, if you HAPPENED to have any unlearned recipes in your inventory, the amount you paid and the amount they're worth now, the difference is mailed to you.
This only works for recipes that haven't been learned. Any recipes you have already learned, no go (I kind of want a refund on these recipes...)
I wonder why we wouldn't receive a refund on learned recipes as well. Especially since we will see an increase in crafting cost on those with no benefit of the lower recipe cost.
yeah i have 14 recipes unlearned right now. How can i get paid the difference?
What sucks for me is I bought the rec at the higher price, learned it, didn't use it yet as I was trying to get enough cr & ce... and now the ce cost went up. So I spent more to buy the rec and now I get to spend more to use it. :(
I have yet to receive any refund or compensation for this change.
how can we tell? someone said the refund was in an email but i didnt get one. but i thought my crowns might have been higher than when i left.
if not they owe me 25K... >:|
I had like 15 recipes and my crowns were significantly higher when I logged in.
Because reply #1 was apparently more cryptic than I thought... the line in the patch notes is all the explanation you should need. A 4* recipe is now 10k, down from 15k, so if you had an unlearned 4* recipe in your arsenal before the patch you will notice when you log in that your character has an additional 5k credits. It's not rocket surgery.
But that would require reading.. which apparently for some people is harder than rocket surgery.
You talk about reading and yet the last two people who posted included the phrase "rocket surgery." lolwut? Did you mean "rocket science" and/or "brain surgery"? Because clearly if you had read what you posted then you would have noticed that...just saying, lol. I mean really what is "rocket surgery" I didn't think you could operate on them to be honest...
'Rocket surgery' is part of the hip vernacular: http://www.doubletongued.org/index.php/dictionary/rocket_surgery
Yes, the update notes explained what would happen. But its not exactly crystal clear. We had to figure out what the new recipe costs were for ourselves (they could've noted what the differences were for us), and there was no EXPLICIT message as to how much money you had been refunded. So unless you memorized your crowns total the last time you logged out, you wouldn't really know anything had changed, now would you?
and I noticed the change.
It's called patch notes. Not patch "every information you're looking for". It was as clear as it needed to be without being too verbose. It says "This one-time action will be implemented as soon as you log in." As soon as you log in. It doesn't say "it'll be in your mail". It doesn't say "do this, do that to receive the reimbursement". It says "log in". How much more clear does it need to be?
They should put this stuff right in the patch notes so everybody's on the same page.
