I created a new alt and I'm planning to get Maskeraith with this one. I'm not sure what to build for a character, though. Swordie, Bomber, Gunner, Hybrid? I have had one recommendation for Vortex bomb and Suda, but I want to gather others just to have some options. So, what do you think?
fun weapon combos with mask?
Quills can be triggered by status ticks, so ash of agni and voltaic tempest are both quite good.
One cast of hex (if you hex an enemy thrice) deals somewhere around 750 damage per target in guild training hall. (That's 250-ish per explosion) Its damage is not to be trifled with.
The Dread Venom Striker is looking like a pretty nice choice now.
the maskeraith's ultimate skills are OP especially the Chaotic Haze .. i already tried it out and gives a lot of dmg.. i rrcommend getting the chaotic haze instead of the haunted haze.. because the ghost has a low chnace to appear..
dont think that the haze from maskeraith is shiit.. its demn OP...
Place electron vortex>use quills on enemies trapped>repeat until enemies are killed until they are dead, today.
I'm a cat guy so I got the Seraphynx but the invisibility would totally fit my playing style, especially with the buffs it gives. I can literally only imagine activating the invisibility, sneaking up to a healer, charging my Acheron and killing it in a single blow. That is, until someone posts a video of it! :D
Problem with invis is you can't charge while invis, and the buffs from the invis dont last long enough for you to charge before they end.
Quill Spray works best with a quick-shot gun, like the Antigua Lines, or something like the Cutter/Sput lines.
Hexing Haze just relies on you staying close to your enemies. As a result, bombs or swords work best. The visual effect of hexing haze can also be a bit distracting. Swords are a bit harder to use with hexing haze, because swords generally are better at either taking down a single target (For example: Brandish Lines) or they sacrifice mobility for aoe control (Heavy Swords). This makes it a bit like patting your head and rubbing your stomach, and takes a bit of practice/split-focus. Bombs is much more straight forward, because they require the same mindset: Hit ALL THE THINGS!
So, I'm basically theming this character as my main's evil twin and my main has an angel theme. So, if I did btb and sentenza it would look sinister enough, but would it also work well with Mask? Based on what I've read so far it seems like this would work, but I'm open to other opinions.
Side note, my angel-themed main is obviously using DA. however, I can't seem to find a non-elemental divine themed weapon for backup that isn't junk (aka Sun Shards). Any thoughts? Thanks.
Any of the flourish lines, although one can conceivably imagine an angel of justice wielding a final flourish with the trail.
You could try using the Supernova for a gun that isn't elemental. I'm not quite sure about bombs though...
I don't find the shard bombs to be as bad as people think...
Also, Final Flourish, SUUUUDDAAAAAAAAA, Mist Bombs, Valiance, and potentially the Winbillion.
The quill mechanics encourage fast attacks in order to activate them. So perhaps the argent peacemaker and sentenza for gunners. I believe the autogun may fire too fast to activate all the quills before the charge or attack is done. For swords, flourish line/btb, obviously. Not sure about bombs, whether the haze bombs can trigger quills with the pulsing status wave effect.
With the cloak, I'm not exactly sure how it would benefit bombers, other than losing aggro and retreating. But that's applicable to any playstyle. For swords, considering you rely on regular attacks coming out of stealth, heavy hitting weapons like the 2 hit combos should work well. It gives a small window of opportunity to take that slow swing into their backside, before they detect and turn. The large knockback on the second hit should create a good area of safety for you to do, well, anything. In most cases, gunners stay at a distance, although the same concept for swords would apply. Maybe you like to get into large mobs and kite inside them. Alchemers would be suited for this, using the same concept as the swords. Sneak in, unload asap. The antigua lines would not be as useful for this considering that they require multiple bullets in the clip to hit.
The hexing haze... I don't have it, but from what I've seen it looks like a 3* haze bomb radius. Tag enemies, enemies go boom. In essence, a delayed aoe with the possibility of hitting more targets. I suppose its just another bomb for bombers. Nothing really special about this one until the ultimate. The status condition seems to be iffy. Most people would just carry a haze bomb of the status they want. The haunted haze which makes each killed monster howlitzer seems like the better choice. I feel like that this would benefit the swordies and gunners more, specifically the ones that focus on taking down a small amount of monsters at a time. This lets the ghosts soften up the group before the knight approaches them. Bombs tend to be area focused damage, so most monsters will fall within 1-2 charges, more if they aren't of the same type. I doubt the damage from the hex would be as much as a bomb, so it doesn't seem as useful for bombers when the enemy is about to die in the next hit.
