So, the new updates are going to ruin our fun and the "get multiple armor sets with the other orbs" because some guys got very lucky and got like 20 orbs from 1 arcade run and 5 love puppies ? I've been playing a lot with my friends since the update came out, and we never got overpowered drops,(i had like 6 5* orbs after 3-5 tier 3 arcade runs in elite. And the only rare mob we found was a rock jelly in scarlet fortress. The update made the orbs less common, and it's getting harder to get gear(a friend of mine needed a 4* orb, and had to play around 5 hours in tier 3 arcade to get 1.( i had some, but they are untradeable)) OOO said that we could have different armor sets, but at this rate, it will take forever to get the armor for the shadow lairs.

Rare monsters were always rare, I don't notice any difference in the spawns yet.
You know, you can always buy those orbs from the supply depot, don't tell me that you aren't picking up the crowns to trade them for energy, do you?
First, i was playing on elite and in tier 3. Second, Elite made the rare mobs a bit more common. Third, i need the crowns for recipes
Alchemy orbs seem to drop a lot for me. I already have 12 eternal (already used the 3 free ones I got) and 15 elite.
Crafting gear is a lot easier now, heating things up is the problem now...
This isn't the same thing. This doesn't include battlesprites and it's from both updates. I just did a complete arcade run(starting from tier 2 till the core) on elite and i only got 1 eternal orb and no other orbs.
You can still buy orbs from the supply depot for the same price that you could craft weapons usually, I don't see the problem.
The problem is that OOO said that we can get a lot of orbs and use them to craft other armor sets to try them out. The old droprate was fine, since you couldn't mass craft stuff and still needed crowns for the recipes. I need my crowns for the recipes wich i'm trying to get at the arcade
Elite in tier 3 arcade is almost impossible without the perfect gear. It's more like a run and open the boxes, and i think that the orb rewards were ok for that.
So the problem is you want crowns but at the same time you want orb?

I'm currently saving up for shadow lairs, so i need both
they nerfed the chance, then they got it up again. orbs are fairly common in the clockworks, just do the arcade on elite and you'll find them.
