This seems to be a pretty common question. I'm still at level 11, so I have no idea. At what level will I need to feed Himesama 2*, 3*, 4* and 5* mats?
At what levels do Sprites start requiring higher star mats?

as for normal materials u can feed any star mats but at like lvl 30ish itll need more 5 star materials

To clarify, until level 30, feeding the sprite a 5* mat will get you more than the preferred food. I'm not sure if feeding it a 5* version of the food would make it increase faster than that, but it's really just better to save those until they're required.

It is easier.
.You are 5 star so just feed it 2 and 3 star mats until lvl 15. You don't need to use its favorite food. With this strategy my sprite is level 37.From 15 feed it 3 and 4 star mats. From level 30 you must feed it 5 star mats and its favorite food from then on.

I started feeding my
I started feeding my Maskerwraith, "Boswicks Dealer", Shadow Stars (5* Sprite Food) from the get go and the only change I've noticed is that after your sprite hits Level 15, it will require a Shadow/Divine/Power 'Dust' instead of a Shadow/Divine/Power 'Mote' to complete the leveling process.
AFAIK, you can feed your pet the "unfavorite" type of item, and it still gives a decent amount of heat, i.e. If you have a Seraphynx, you /can/ feed it Shadow and Power Sprite Food, but it wouldn't be as effective at heating your sprite if you used the favorite type (Divine).
Hopefully this helps in some way :)

You need Ultimate Evo Catalysts at 89, 94, *and* 99.
1-14: 1 star food like power,shadow, or divine depending on pet (at 14 2 star evo catalyst)
15-30: 2 star food
31-49: 3 star food (at 49 4 star adv. evo catalyst)
50-74: 4 star food
75-99: 5 star food (at 99 5 star ult. evo catalyst)
