Emergency Revive Fix

Now, many knights have been saying that knights are using their emergency revive at the end of a level so they get full health, ready for the next depth with another emergency revive ready to be abused (or whatever you wish to call it).

I've never seen someone do that. I won't lie about it, I honestly haven't. I have heard many knights talk about it and some even wanted to do it. Whether someone has done it when in a party with I don't know because it's hard enough noticing when knights are dead, all I see is that their health is full. Whether that is through getting hearts or the ER.

The reviving system in T1 would stay the same as it is now. Whether in a mission or arcade. This also means that people in T2 or T3 who go to T1 arcade or missions would get that system too, no matter what difficulty chosen.
In T2, If knights choose the hardest difficulty they'll only get two revives, assuming the missions are only 3 depths (Amount of Depths -1 = ER's)
In T3 knights get amount of depths -2.

Not the best solution but it would definitely stop drop the numbers of people who are abusing the ER... Or so I hope...

The emergency revive is intended to replace the function of health sharing revives. It's not like you could only health share revive once every Strata or mission.

I'm not sure if that should be viewed as abuse in the first place, and the system you're proposing is pretty unfair given the rev cost, especially for less-experienced or laggy players.

And note that the emergency

And note that the emergency revive spawn you with only red pips, however many that is. So if your pods and trinkets go into the greys, that health won't be restored. So it isn't as abusable as one would think.

Ok, since you all pointed out pretty good points which I would like to argue with but will end up being pointless since I see that you're, more or less, correct, then how about this is enforced in Elite mode? Knights are asking for a tough jobs that comes with good rewards, that's why many choose elite. This will make missions and/or arcade even tougher.

This will not be in danger missions though. Danger missions should just stay as reviving system is now. 1 per depth.

@Hexzyle Elite with this system will be a tough job or atleast stop knights from doing this who choose to do elite missions. you couldn't choose difficulty when the health sharing system was here. But now you can choose difficulty. Elite won't be a joke here and Joke there. 1 death that's it, you're on your own. I'm not trying to mean but they shouldn't have chosen elite then

@Kilpik Laggy players or less-experienced players should not be choosing Elite to do elite then. If they do, they'll be going in at the risk of their own parks and energy

@Demon Even so, those with health beneath max red pips would still be healing them selves.

Actually, health sharing revive should be reimplemented, for the sake of teamwork. We can still have emergency revives, but not that much.

This free health refill can be easily abused with faust and gran faust, so I guess this revive system should be reworked abit.

You think current system

You think current system allows abuse? Try Shadow Lair. Surviving in one without dying more than once in an entire run is next to impossible. And if your team decides to leave you on the ground, you use your emergency revive on the next depth instead (leaving you without one for an entire depth). With your offer we'd be forced to carry dead party members through entire missions on our backs because they don't want to revive...

Emergency revives won't work with health sharing, ever. And sharing health will greatly limit usability of sparks of life.

@Round I had not even mentioned Shadow lairs yet?...

You can't choose the difficulty on Shadow Lair cause you go there via lift not via missions? Or am I mistaken. If I'm not then the Revival system would stay the same there as well as T1.

fallen, SLs difficulty is the same as the run you hve to do to reach them. if you run to the terminal on elite, it will be elite, if advanced, it will be advanced. should be so.
