If one gets to 100, can you go and get a second one? Can you get all three Drakons (tho that would be kinda silly), or are we limited to one of each?
Did Nick ever specify when or how we'd be able to acquire additional Battle Sprites?

Nothin' confirmed, it's all tentative. I mean it's highly likely there will be more, but there's definitely no set date, or technically a 100% guarantee, I'd say.
Impossible to get a 2nd starter at any rate.
Wouldn't doubt the above, either. Or maybe some sort of equippable skin (Please, I don't wanna level another sob.)

The reason im asking is
I'm really taking my time about the whole thing, but I like to have the best possible gear for each level I play, and the means having the best kind of Battle Sprite in the best possible harness.

actually, there have been some nick statements (both in the announcements and out of them) that say that we will be able to aquire more than one battle sprite, but not mentioning when or how.

My presumption is that they will be obtainable via a DLC. You know, the kind we have to pay for.
But you know our first being an important choice, it could be like proto gear. There's no going back on that and you cannot get the others. So maybe not just new ones they have planned for us but maybe even some sort of revised versions of the current ones later on...?

@Hollows: I really like that comparison. The starter pets could be like Proto gear, whereas future pets are like other gear. Leveling them is like upgrading your gear in stars.
I hope they have a creative way of obtaining new pets though. And I would love to see a wide variety of pets.
