Have been playing this game on my macbook w/ no problems (besides the occasional lag spike). After this patch I can't open the auction house. I will click the option 'browse vendor supplies' or whatever it says and my guy will just sit there w/ the action like its opening but it never does. This essentially freezes your character in that motion. Only way i've found to 'unfreeze' is to switch havens.
Is this a known issue w/ mac computers or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
Macbook 10.5.8, AH freezes my character and I can't move. It's not just you.
Also running on 10.5.8. I can login fine, but when I hit action in front of the AH no window pops up. I've tried different channels—same problem.
10.6.7....no problem here...
I used my macbook air as well its 10.6.7 and it has no problem....I think it may be something with the 10.5.8...
The problem with the AH is specific to 10.5 (maybe earlier as well?). My MacBook Pro runs 10.6.x and can access the AH fine. My Mac Pro (desktop) runs 10.5.8 and cannot access the AH. Going to java.com tells me to use Software Update, and SU doesn't find anything new.
So, there you go, the problem is specific to running the game on OS X 10.5.
I'm not sure what MacBook I have, standard one I suppose. But I was experiencing the problem of not even being able to log on yesterday. Around 7:00 p.m. (west coast) I was able to play the game as usual. I was even able to post and buy on the AH. Does it still not work for a lot of you?
There was about an hour after the client update when they forgot that Mac users might want to play the game still as well, before ragequitting. It was handled with a bugfix. The Auction House problem is separate fun.
