First off, I just want to suggest how to get other battle sprites before going on. In some areas, there will be a patch of grass or rocks or the habitat the battle sprites live in. There is a chance that it will spawn in a map. Once in the map, when you find these creatures, you will need to tame them by giving them a special food crafted by 30 of each mineral or just purchased from the supply depot. Crafting it will result in it being non-tradable. When you acquire this food, simply open your inventory and look at the food. Then press tame. If there is no battle sprite around, it will immediately say that none are close around and it cannot be used. Once tamed, there you have it. If this method is too easy, the mineral and price may be changed in the future. This feature is only available for arcade.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Will be updated daily for new ideas.
Well... since everyone is trying to make other battle sprites or whatever, might as well pitch in and make my idea, though I have no clue about the appearance for names. Names I make up. Introducing PVP Battle Sprites:

Battle sprites are designed to take down enemies that attack you or so but are they designed to eliminate players. As we look through the Haven and into the Coliseum, King Krogmo looks at these Battle Sprites and says they need a monster battle sprite. A one that has not been just a prototype of the spiral knights. He designs his own battle sprites.

Leveling:

Battle sprites USUALLY like food but in this case, they like something more valuable than that. These made battle sprites only eat Krogmo Coins along with rewards from PVP such as bomb heads. You feed it material until it's almost leveled. Then give it a Coin. Yum. From levels 1 - 75, you will need a variety of coins. Then, at level 75, you'll need bomb heads, Wow, what??? Yes, that is correct, Bomb heads/Masks. This makes a better use of them. Why wear when you can feed your pet with it? Speaking of coins, when you level 1 - 10, you need one coin each level. Then it'll be 2. Then 3. Then 4,5,6,7...

Restrictions:

These pets will not be able to be used in the clockworks. These pets are only designed to hurt players. Also, there will be a new option to enable or disable them. Do you want to go in a game without a battle sprite when everyone has one?

Let's get started:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kat Battle Sprite: The Lovable Battle Sprite?

Bite:

Range: 4 Sq

Sends "your" battle sprite toward the direction you want and then it will look for a target. If it tracks a player, it will charge toward the player and bite the player dealing damage.

Augments:
-Focus: Reduces cooldown.
-Fangs of Margrel: Deals more damage.
-Swift: Increases movement speed and pace it is done in.

Ultimate Skills:

Status:
Inflicts a random status effect on enemy.

Slow:
Inflicts slow on enemy.

Bullets:

Range: 5 Sq

Releases three bullets like a regular kat. Deals damage and lowers defense.

Augments:
-Focus: Reduces cooldown.
-Super-Bullets: Increases damage dealt.
-Pierce: Decreases defense.

Ultimate Skills:

Status:
Inflicts a random status on enemy.

Second Round:
Release a second spray of bullets shortly after the first spray.

Bullet Ring

Range: Two star bomb

Release three bullets that circle you and deal damage to enemies hit.

Augments:
-Focus: Reduces cooldown.
-Spray: Increases number of bullets by one.
-Bullet attack: Increases damage dealt.

Ultimate Skills:

Status: Inflict a random status effect on enemy.

Buff:
Gives defense buff.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Comment on the new PVP battle sprites idea. If you like it, I'll make another. If you don't like it, I'll remove it in general.

Like? Dislike? Rate it.

Guardia
Fiery Rage:
"Strikes in a line" is too ambiguous. Is it a line that extends out from the player? Is it a line that strikes perpendicular to the player/moves outwards from the player?

I feel as if having a chance to push enemies back would mess kiting enemies up. Some enemies would go back while some don't. Wouldn't it be better to have a guaranteed knockback, albeit a small one? Even if it did no damage, as sort of like a giant shieldbump.

Rising Conqueror:
Not hating or anything, just wondering what Gremlins and Undead have to do with eachother.

Power Surge:
Not sure if this is a self buff or an area ability, or both. So it's supposed to both debuff enemies to help your teammates, and buff yourself?

Spark of Power:
When does this blast trigger? When the ability is used, or each time you attack with your weapon?

Unyielding Crusade:
So it's a Seraphynx's shield, with the advantage of having biteback, but disadvantage of only affecting yourself? Seems alright. This would only affect melee attacks right? Since it's kinda hard to perform biteback against bullets.

Cosmic
Fallen Star:
A specification of the range would be good. Would it be a random erratic movement within the bounds of a 1-2 star bomb? As long as the duration was fairly short (1-2 seconds) it seems balanced, although one would think why not just make it an area blast.
Augment - Flowing Magic: Increase speed? What does this do? Allow it to hit more times over the duration?

Star Collision:
If you converted the ability to an area blast, you could have two blasts occur in succession: one directly on the player, the second in a wider radius.

Remember that the first Sprite skill is supposed to be weak but quickly cooling. This seems like it has far too much utility.

Whistling Blast:
This seems like a duplicate of Star Collision, save for the random status.

Right Back:
The second blast should be of less strength than the first, lest you completely double the damage of this skill, making Deadly Focus useless (unless cooldown was really long and Deadly Focus was able to halve the cooldown, given enough enemy kills)

Cosmic Barrage:
Paralyzing Rain:
I'm just going to assume you meant "minor chance to inflict shock once per second" since shocking enemies once per second guaranteed chance would be an overpowered Voltaic Tempest (which only causes shock with 40% chance twice per second)

Summary:
Specify which abilities cause damage in the ability's summary line. Else we can't understand what your Augments do. For example, the Cosmic Barrage I can't tell if if damage is dealt constantly or only when the ability is first cast. Whistling Blast, Fiery Rage, does not mention causing damage.

Fiery Rage: Strikes in the

Fiery Rage:
Strikes in the direction you activate it. Changed so it will push 100% but maybe half or less than half of the supernova/polaris.

Rising Conqueror:
Changed. I was writing this article at night and just copy/pasted. I just need to fix it up a bit.

Power Surge:
The buff is a self buff but the debuff is all around you.

Spark of Power:
Triggered.

Unyielding Crusade:
Only for melee. Though, it lasts VERY quick and only for you.

Fallen Star:
Yeah, I'll go change it. Probably 3 - 4 star bomb. If upgraded, it can go to 5* bomb range. The reason why it's not just a set explosion is because it lasts quite a while unlike a blast. The speed is because the fast it moves, the more it can damage in a certain time period.

Star Collision/ Whistling Blast:
I think I'll change it to an area blast. I'll go change the second ability.

I'll have to go tweak it a bit more. Might take a couple minutes.

Introducing PvP Battle Sprites

I need commentary of how good they are and whether or not to add more or delete the idea in general.
