I've paid about $40 into this game so far. That's a generous amount. Before you believe that I'm about to rant, let me just say no. But I will vent a part of my frustration and say this:

On behalf of the Brony community within the game (and I know a lot of Bronies play this game), Princess Celestia is not amused. But My Little Pony teaches us valuable lessons - therefore we're going to *try* to LOVE and TOLERATE this update. So there.

My suggestion is a little sort of compensation for this crystal energy crisis going on (if you wanna call it a crisis). Simply either increase the mist-energy capacity or decrease the regeneration time from (what I believe currently is) 15 minutes per 1 energy to 10 minutes per 1 energy. Or both, which is probably best preferred. It's a small request I make, and I don't believe it will affect the global image of the game *too* much. It also makes it just a nudge easier to play, because as of now it seems pretty hard to play as a new player.

I also have an off-topic statement I would like Three Rings to see. I believe that as a new game, this game doesn't need absolutely HUGE updates like this so often. Like my suggestion, small updates should better help EASE the game into glory. Let it be nurtured rather than forcefully grown, as it makes it really hard to compensate. If such a big update were to take place, the least that could've been done was more of a warning.

I like the changes they've

I like the changes they've made this patch, except for one thing: Energy cost increasing for crafting. Removing the energy cost from crafting and increasing the crown cost would be much more preferable.

The game is really getting hard for new players. The amount of crowns you get from going into the clockworks isn't changing, yet the cost of energy and gear just keeps going up... It's already hard enough for someone interested in the game to play it enough to get a feel for it without waiting a week for their energy to refill, because they don't get enough crowns from adventuring to buy more.

Needing energy should be a major thing later in the game, not early on in it. Keep the high energy crafting cost for 4-5 star items, and remove it from all the ones below that, and increase the money dropped from the first few depths so that new players can actually make progress when they start playing.

I agree with Daystar.

This game seems to be a little harsh to new players. The idea about getting rid of Energy Cost for Crafting until the 4-5* Items seems reasonable & the amount of crowns in the Clockworks really needs to get higher. I agree with his ideas fully.

Going along with Daystar's

Going along with Daystar's points--the harder it is for new players to start out, the less likely they'll stay; especially if all their friends are too busy with T2/T3 (and trying to maximize their CE) to spend ce/time helping them.
