At this point I don't even know why the arcade hub still exists
Just raising the issue is all. I'm enjoying the game right now
Can't pick difficulty(normal/advanced/elite) when hosting or joining a game through the arcade. Poor arcade still ignored

Agreed.
Also, the Arcade UI has indicators for the needed energy and crowns for entrance into the gate. This stays to 0 because levels don't require any energy or crowns anymore.
For whatever reason, the main Arcade UI hasn't been updated. Using the Mission UI Interface and then selecting Arcade is a quick-fix.
As for joining parties, use the Party Finder UI. These are really the only fixes right now but it's a shame the main Arcade UI is getting shunned.
