Hello fellow spiral knight players.

Many of you are as disappointed as I am with a number of the current changes, specifically to the increase costs of gear. Like me, many of you have spent a good deal of hard earned, real life cash on the game. These massive changes came without announcement, no time to prepare or make decisions. These secret works show the dev's real intentions. They don't respect their player base.

What I propose:
*We need to force change.*
"How?"
We don't need them to survive, they need us. I propose we starve them. We dont buy CE or log in for 2 weeks to a month.
The time will pass quick enough, and yes people will still play during that time. However, the loss of revenue they will suffer will force them to evaluate the situation, and come up with better solutions.

"But we all knew we would be paying money for a free-to-play game right?" Correct
I knew it, we all should have. That isn't the issue. I player other free-to-play games. IE League of Legends. I am happy to support them with my money. They have found ways to make money without hindering my gaming experiece. Spirals Knights can too. They have taken the lazy road.

"Why should i bother?"
You will be standing up for all gamers and a whole industry. These games are making millions-billions of dollars off of us. Isn't it time we demanded they show us the proper respect that we deserve for filling their pockets and supporting their lives?
*You, me, and all players of this game will benefit from taking a stand.

Please let me know how you feel. Let the devs know. Don't stand by and do nothing when you have the chance and power to.

just say no

just say no to buying CE, if 20% of the player base lowers purchases this month they'll reconsider this path, especially if players continually refuse to pay EXORBITANT rates to enjoy a FREE GAME.

play spiral knights as a daily game and only rely on mist energy, starve the beast.

i was going to sub on dofus,

i was going to sub on dofus, then a friend got me to join here and i payed for CE.
first online game ive payed for and its starting to reinforce my previous ideas about paying for online games.

skrew the idea about not paying for a month..
first time i payed is the last.

now i know at any point theyll just mess things up without warning, and just to annoy the players even more, close threads where they voice their disgust at the Devs actions.

This is stupid

You have no life. If you invest so much of your thought and emotion into "getting back at them" you're really, really sad.

They didn't try to screw us over.

Many of us are unhappy with design changes, but they didn't do that _intentionally_. They were trying to make the game fair for people who didn't dish out loads of cash in the first place to jump right into 5* equips.

Maybe that wasn't the right choice, and maybe it was, it's no reason to burn them at the stake and continue to make thread after thread about how angry you are.

You're all childish.

Be constructive, and maybe they'll be more inclined to listen.

--> Directed at the people who are complaining unconstructively, not those who are giving valid reasons for their complaints.

And these people aren't making millions and billions of dollars off of us.

If you want to see someone who is, go complain to private insurance and oil companies.

But some things(Namely the new crafting changes)don't deserve constructiveness, but deserve to be torn down and forgotten only to go die in a cold, dark hole, sad and alone.

Also, I personally haven't seen anyone say "Oh yeah, the devs are INTENTIONALY trying to piss us off! Rargh!" just because someone didn't do something/cause something on purpose DOES NOT mean they should be excused for it.

I am a purchase account and have great respect for programmers who make a good game....but I know where the line is drawn, and they've crossed it. I'm definitely signed for not purchasing any more CE until this is resolved.

And what I mean by resolving:

1. They've made it where everyone is forced to build their own equipment, no longer can you make stuff for others (permabind)
2. They then raised the CE requirement for that same equipment to be built
3. The auction house is a joke....they really thought that was a good idea?
4. Gate manipulation is still a problem (boosting is way too costly that it's more of a deterrent and you make the GMs just alloy instead, where's the player control in that?)

Count me in

I already posted my opinion on this in another thread. Basically, I am very disheartened by this update. In one update they managed to completely ruin this game for me and everyone around me. Our major does not allot us much time, and we don't have money to spend year round on this game. Until these changes are reverted, we wont even consider contributing money to what was once a great game.

And yet you spend so much time 'teaching them a lesson'? I've seen a multitude of your posts, that mostly have a common recurring theme "you have no life, yet I intend to be trollofically ironic and 'smack you down' over the net".

Take your own advice. Your aggression solves nothing.

Boycotts don't do anything.

Boycotts don't do anything. When was the last time you heard of a boycott having any appreciable effect on the real world, much less a video game?
