Okay, so I came back to SK after a looooong time to find that it's been given a huge update. Which is good (all my crowns which were converted to Energy before I left... not so good).

I got my Battle Sprite of course, and after trying to find the feed pet part for like, a really really long time, I found it and I've been leveling up my pet.

The problem I'm facing now is, how do we control the Battle Sprite?

I use WASD. And when I press my sprite's hot key, it only works like, a third of the time. Sometimes I make sure it's standing next to me, facing the right direction and my Spiral Knight has that little talky icon, and yet the Sprite does nothing. At other times, the Sprite just auto-spams its attack the moment the cooldown is complete. Even if I'm just standing in an empty room doing nothing (nor did I spam his hotkey prior).

I'm sure there's a way to get them to work consistently, I just don't know what it is yet. Can someone tell me? I got a Maskeraith because I'm a kite gunner. I figured the invisibility would get me out of tight spots, but since it doesn't work when I want it to work (middle of a heated battle), the Sprite is turning out to be just a minor bonus that's getting kind of expensive to level up. (My Sprite's just reached lvl 30, but I haven't spent any skill points yet).
