I'll add the votes up as best I can :P So what's your favourite Boss and it's levels? Also say why you prefer it over the others! I'm talking about the 4 normal bosses, not the Shadow lairs. Also please don't say Firestorm Citadel SIMPLY because it's the highest payout. I'm only doing this because I want to see what are people's favourite bosses.

I'll start it off...

Gloaming Wildwoods - 3
Royal Jelly Palace - 2
Ironclaw Mutations Factory - 6
Firestorm Citadel - 2

I love Gloaming Wildwoods simply because the Boss is more different compared to JK and Vana. The environment is spooky. It's dark and Snarby follows you until you get to his lair! I just love it overall. The music fits the Environment perfectly for me and it never gets old! (Unlike FSC).

You don't have to say WHY you like one over another, but I'd like to know why you prefer it. :P

So far in the lead...

Ironclaw Mutations Factory - 1st
Gloaming Wildwoods - 2nd
Firestorm Citadel/Royal Jelly Palace - Joint 3rd
_______- 4th

FSC First off, fire breathing

FSC

First off, fire breathing zombies dammit. Brotha truckin fire breathing zombies. I mentally crapped my pants when I first saw those.

The wheels on the drawbridge give it a great start. Better yet, the Devs decided to spawn angry zombies at the same time even though they can take damage from the wheels, without even batting an eye.

The Truths don't provide any Answers

Ironclaw. If you can get over the lag, it's a fun puzzle-like area, plus the boss isn't quite as "hacked and slashed" as most other bosses are these days. That, and you can get some pretty good weapons if you're dedicated.

Pity I don't have the Biohazard series. /e sadface.

The Roarmuli are probably my favorite. It's nice to fight a puzzle boss instead of a hack'n'slash.

OCH feels like a true boss siege. Seerus wants to destroy Haven, he must be defeated. The levels involve taking elevators up and down to open the main gate rather than always 'going deeper'. The fight ends with everything blowing up and then there's a bonus floor.

Meanwhile, Vanaduke, snarbolax or the jelly just happened to be there and we kill them when we could just take a different gate and let them be without having any real impact on the story of the game.

Jelly Palace.

I love the music for the area, and the idea of Slime Royalty.
Also it's tokens are spent on building up my 2 Favourite Shadow Weapons.

While the boss in and for itself I find just a tad disappointing(nothing "oh god so bad", I just feel it could be better on certain ends), both gameplay and graphics design of the area really feel much more unique compared to the other boss areas we got. The music and general sound combined with the really awesome colour palette of the place also offer a much tighter atmosphere compared to the other boss areas.

The one glaring flaw of IMF really is the horrendous lag you get, OOO should look forward to fix once they have the time. This place has so many levels of awesome, it's such a shame how underplayed and disliked the place is mainly for its lag-rockets.

Close second would be Firestorm Citadel. Third is Snarby. The loser is the Royal Jelly, whose castle is nothing more than a few battle rooms chained together. Plus, the Royal Jelly is such an obnxious boss to play against, being fairly boring in its attack patterns while having an almost unfair way to negate DPS.

Snarby Snarby Snarby

I like Snarby most and then FSC. The levels both have great atmosphere.

I like wildwoods cause of the music and just the way things are put together, and Snarby is a neat critter (although I wish the bell mechanic wasn't so finicky).

The one thing holding FSC back for me is that it can get really monotonous especially towards the middle of the third floor. I feel about the same for IMF. Although IMF is still more interesting to me than the JK- that may only be exasperation brought on by how much people gridded JK before they nerfed its payout. (I wanted to cut my teeth on T3 darnit, not blow through an easy boss run over and over again).

Ironclaw Munitions Factory,

Ironclaw Munitions Factory, hands down. Stellar level design, sadly it runs kind of badly on certain systems, and a boss fight that literally requires teamwork to get past.

yes please

Thankyou for the votes so far! :D

To be honest I expected more Royal Jelly Palace because some tier 2 people usually do JK runs.

My favourite boss(es) are the Roarmulous Twins, second is the Snarbolax, then the Royal Jelly, whilst Lord Vanaduke got the last place.

So let me explain why:
- Let's start with Lord Vanaduke and the Firestorm Citadel:
In my opinion the levels look quite good and offer some unique ideas (especially the wheels), also the boss looks okay, BUT for me the areas (mostly) just contain fighting, especially the stage, wher you have to rescue the Sprites are not really original and the arenas in this stage are just a pretty simple way to make the run take longer. The Boss itself is pretty easy and is just made harder with the flames and the high amount the damage, which is (in my opinion) not really original. So whilst the Firestorm Citadel is not a bad stage, for me it is not enough to conquer the others.
- Royal Jelly: First of all I really like the idea of a Jelly Hierarchy, and I also really love the style of the levels and the slimes itself, BUT the Royal Jelly Palace is pretty easy compared to the others and the boss even needs less tactics than Lord Vanaduke, which makes it simplay boring. The point that makes players play this levels is, that it is (like already said) pretty easy and offers great rewards if you have some tokens. (Gran Faust, Divine Avenger, Sentenza and Argent Peacemaker as a few of the best weapons in the game)
- The Snarbolax: I like the Snarbolax and the Gloaming Wildwoods, because they offer a great challenge for new players, and is really unique. Especially the kind dark music theme and the fact that the Snarbolax is following you until you finally reach his Lair, makes this levels mysterious and maybe even scary. It was even better before the missions were introduced, because you didn't know where you were and then see the Snarbolax (if you know what I mean), which itself looks pretty, pretty goodd (in my opinion the best looking boss, with his black style and his red eyes, which match pretty good). And furthermore the Boss also needs some more tactics to be fought.
-Finally the Roarmulous Twins: In my opinion the Ironclaw Muntions Factory offer a great challenge when beating them the first time, and when you learn the points, where monsters or rockets spawn, and so you can get used to this levels and become better every time. The Levels contain great puzzles, which are unique and can not be found in any other level pack, which makes it something very special. The next point is the perfectly matching colours in this mechanic maps, the dark red, blue and grey colours simply look great. All in all this map pack is something nearly perfect, and it's sad that the Roarmulous Twins are fought pretty rare times, which (I think) just happens like this, because the maps are really hard when you figh them the first time, which keeps you from repeating the levels.
(-Just to mention, Warmaster Seerus: The maps are in my opinion the most challenging levels in the whole game, being the only Gremlin Boss, Warmaster Seerus, is not really creative, but the Operation Crimson Hammer mission pack is definitely worth it, because it offers some new features with really long and hard levels. After completing the levels you also get some really strong and useful weapons and if you are encouraged enough you also can get a strong helmet.)

Cheese it up!

My vote would have to be the Royal Jelly Palace. My reason is more personal than what the levels has to offer. In games, I always hated enemies that could heal, and hate boss that heal even more. The first time I fought him, I was completely destroyed. I would lose to him all the time. But within time, I got better gear, and got more skillful, up to the point to where I finally defeated him. I was so happy that day.

Now you may say that why pick him. You basically have that same experience the first time you meet all the bosses. And you would be true. But for me, I personally liked the big o' slime. It's the best one in my eyes.
