How it comes that I've got atleast +25 of those in 15 runs of Stratum 5 (50% of the time I've also come across a Treasure Vault, including +3 Eternal Orbs of Alchemy)?
The only thing where luck is against me is putting a Mercurial Mail recipe in Basil...

Remember, not everyone can solo FSC Elite in Proto gear. The Spark drop rate outside of Elite was somewhere between "fine" and "not common enough" before this latest patch, in my opinion.
Reduced drop rate or not, it's still up the RNG if a Spark drops in the first place.
Overall, you'll find less, but you could sometimes get lucky, like you have.
