Lag: sliding 3-6tiles away every 30-60 seconds

Hello!

I still have to consider myself lucky if I manage to walk in a circle for 40 seconds. Without drifting away for 3 to 6 tiles that is. Ingame it sort of looks like a connection issue + wrong clientside prediction; sometimes I just don't see what's really happening for a split second and everything seems to chance.
- Analysing traffic seems to shows no systematic change in incoming & outgoing packages rolling along though.
- This happens all the time. It's easy to try if it's still there: I really can't walk in a circle for more than 60 seconds. Never.
- Couldn't find any network spikes related to this.
- Couldn't find any cpu / ram / gpu / spikes related to this
- Couldn't find any issues with my connection to servers close to the game servers

I'm on archlinux x86_64, current java / nvidia driver / everything.

Please help me to fix this problem or put safety rails around all spikes and fire pits down in firestorm. Also it would be great, if Vanaduke & his guards could send me a /tell before they rush at me because often the only thing I see when that happens is me suddenly being somewhere entirely else in the room and most likely on fire or dead.

Thanks!

Have you been having this

Have you been having this problem prior to the patch?

Yes, it has been like this

Yes, it has been like this since the beginning. Might be coincidence, but after the patch the outgoing traffic looks more orderly so I can't really blame it on traffic spikes any more. Some lag might have even disappeared with the patch - before It looked a lot more random (length and distributions of lag + how exactly it looks).
