As Curious-Mewkat said, Nick confirmed elsewhere that "heart attack doesn't modify the loot you would otherwise be entitled to from the monster". So it shouldn't change any natural drop rates.

Shouldn't be. But crown drop rate is pretty random within a set range, so maybe it's just your bad luck :3
