The Companion prize boxes give you one of each appropriate tiered sprite food, but two of them will be all but useless for each person. What was the point of doing that? Would it be so hard to figure out which sprite a person had?

What if the player didn't have a sprite yet during the time they opened the box?
Anyways, there might even be future uses depending on what other battle sprites get released. Or you can use it to craft more food for your sprite or vendor it if those are possible. =P
Or feed it to your sprite anyways.

you'll get 6 companion prize boxes which contain one mat for each pet (event's expiring on 14th). so after that, you can craft them into 6 favored mats for your pet.

I just fed them
ex). I have 1 of each orb, and a maskareth, i fed the divine and power to it and saved the shadow orb for required food.

They could have added a check so you get what you need. They need to be bound because of alts. Always blame the alts :v

They gave us free stuff and you're complaining? Just act as if they only gave you 1 free food, and sell the others to a NPC for minimal crowns (if that's possible). Free 5* 'materials' to feed your pet normally are pretty awesome too, no complaints here. ..

You can always feed it to them like a regular 5*. Or craft if you get multiples from the box.
