so i've been replaying SK for a bit, when i had a thought about the weapon system

they recently overhauled the energy system, and added in pets, so why couldn't they alter how combat works

my idea: change that whole weapon+shield

you have 2 hands, in one, you can equip a weapon, gun or sword

in the other, you can equip a shield, OR a sword/gun. M1 for first weapon, M2 for second

so if a gunslinger wanted to focus on damage, they could equip 2 guns of the same or similar type, or 2 different ones. same with those who prefer to sue swords, or even those who want a taste of BOTH.

this system could increase the number of weapons to a maximum of 4, or even more for additional slots

additionally, this could allow the introduction of 2 handed weapons, greatswords that could block or smash, or rifles and shotguns

so despite my ramblings, and the fact that this idea would probably never see light, what do you think?

Charge a brandish or a blitz and you'll be able to insta-kill everything.

You win nothing by dual wielding.

Stop trying to change the SK gameplay people, spiral knights is fun because of its arcadic and timing-and-skill-based combat. The whole thing is about timing your charges perfectly, blocking and shield canceling at just the right moment. Dual wielding would just completely change the gameplay.

This wont be useful, Like what Juances said.

Well this will be useful if you were to run the whole course (Which isn't doable ATM) and is EXTREMELY bad for situations like arena's and with no shield you wont survive for long and when I mean not long I'm serious! (I've tried to run arcade Depth 10 with no shield, and I died really fast)
