I wanted to use my steam for SK and it starts installing it even though i have installed it. It has been 2 hours and it is still stuck at 16% and i don't think it is working. If it does work, how will i connect my steam to my previous account?

When you launch sk through steam, it will auto log you in a steam account. Just log out of that account, put in your other account's username and password and there should be an option to convert accounts. Note that you can't have more than 4 knights total from both the steam and old account.
