If you're gonna revive, you better do it quick! Seems as if there is a timer that starts when you die and after a certain point loot stops dropping. So if you want your loot, make sure you have plenty of Sparks so you don't have to rely on someone else who may not get you reved soon enough!

Not sure how long you can still have loot dropped once dead but it seems to be less than a minute at a rough guess.

So you know, don't take that opportunity to go pee or go get something that will make you want to pee.

That wasn't really a stealth

That wasn't really a stealth patch - that was in from the beginning.

I hate when they play possum

I hate when they play possum with me. "Hehehe, hey buddy, if you don't want me to go and leave you to solo this level all by yourself, then you should pop a revive for me. If you don't, then fine! I'll go up! Those small crowns aren't even worth my time, bye!" Bloody goats, you can't trick Bushido that easily... I don't even need them... Hoarders will hoard, and they will never use those sparks. What's the point in having them, anyway? Those sparks are meant for being used, foo's.

@Shidara: Beginning of what

@Shidara: Beginning of what exactly? Because it wasn't there when they made the Battle Sprite/no mist/free elevators/new heating system patch. Or after really.

@Shidara

You're wrong actually, this didn't exist at the time of the sprite update initially. It was added some time after among all the recent patches, because we have tested this since the update, and it's only happened in these past few days. I actually expected this to be a better option INSTEAD of instanced loot, but it seems OOO decided to use both options. Although I would've thought a mere 30 second idle timer would do the trick better than most of this stuff would, but what do I know about programming anyway.

Are you sure this isn't part of the invisble loot glitch?

Sometimes the loot will "dissapear" but you can still collect it by walking around where it's supposed to be.

@Mysteryzx

Sometimes you just have to go AFK for a while. Any anti-altdragging solution needs to account for that.

I'm nearly certain it was

I'm nearly certain it was there on the day of or after the battle sprite update. I was playing a fiend level with a guy and was considering reviving when I saw that no loot was dropping. So, yeah, it was there.

?

So if someone stays dead for too long newly-killed monsters drop no loot? Ok, that's overkill... I don't think anyone's alt dragging anymore. Seriously, guys, stoppit.

(unless this is just a glitch like Juances said.)

@Dmatter

While you are "nearly certain" Mystery and I actually TESTED it. So no it wasn't.

@Juances: I thought maybe that was the case but we haven't tested that yet.

@Klipik: That's right. Boxes too.

Huh

I remembered suggesting something like this a few days before the actual patch.

huh? I could have sworn there was ALWAYS a limit to how much loot could appear at one time (like other games that have "drop limits" to save memory)

@Juan, glitch is when you joining or back after DC. That actually works.
That is when someone die and pretty good idea and will stop nooby, lazy leechers. But, meh. It's all because of alts. :I

It's not only monsters, a guildie has seen firsthand that it is the same for boss tokens and boxes too.
