This Game is too easy to conquer on any level....
I can clear a whole gate with fiends in the last two stratums, without dying, using only a dvs and skolver, my specialized sets tend to make everything die easily, they don't even have UVs either, any real gamer would know this game is pretty easy, not meant to be very challenging, which is why having sprites or UV's won't be much help, other than having a chance at stealing your kills, besides, its your choice get whatever pet you want, this game has no trends lol, unless you want to follow a cruddy religion set by players with virtual cliques.

The only reason to have the
The only reason to have the pets is for the perks. I'm able to run with max damage for sword and guns.
Nonetheless, Seraphynx is cool if you solo Tier3 on elite. Extra chance of hearts is nice, or using the aura to escape tough spots, or go kamikaze if you like.

You can use the kitty field (angelic aura) to walk on spikes, that's a useful feature.

Unless you're very good at using sprites' offensive power(you should figure that out before choosing one), Seraphynx is pretty much the only sprite that suits you.

Don't...
Just... don't....
Lazer reduce overall defense, you can do normal dmg to the mask of vana. Yes you can ^ ^
You can spawn hearts and even defense orb that grants defense buff that can last for a good chunk of time (got it up to 120 seconds)
Your Aura can shield YOU and your team from upcoming attack and cross D16 RT lazer at the end of the depth dmg free...
Is Drakon and Maskeraith awesome? Yes they are both too... I love the speed burst of Drakon and the invis of Mask. But Seraphynx is the best. Mostly because I like supporting.
Shiv locking vana + lazer debuff = best thing ever
Of course my ult are lazer debuff, defense orb heart and defense aura, CTR aura has lame def time compared to the other one.
I always enjoy running with my lvl 100 seraphynx.... Always! Plus it's fun to gather a big pile of mobs and heart them to then obliterate them in 20 seconds flat XD

Super kitty!
The pet actually CAN help you kill vana.
Because at level 100 the valk aura gives everyone inside it CTR Max.
Basically it means for people without good UV'ed gear you can now feel like a boss for about 8 seconds :3

the ray of light isn't meant
the ray of light isn't meant to do damage. it's meant to push enemies back. (can be a lifesaver, if you know how to use it, as it can give you enough time for a charge attack)
the heart attack can be helpful if you or your team is low on health. just don't die before you kill the enchanted enemies
the angelic aura is very useful if your sheild is broken, and if you have quick reflexes, can save the life of you or your teammate (one time my buddy had a broken sheild and 1% health, and I quickly used my sprite's sheild to protect him. it almost worked, but the trojan still managed to deal 1 or 2 pips worth of damage, which was enough to kill my buddy, but if my sheild was upgraded more, that would've been an epic moment)

Hey, I based my sprite choice on the fact that one of the evolutions resembled a porno character. No shame. (I'll probably get a Seraphynx when we can get more than one sprite.
A skilled knight doesn't need the help of a Sprite. Honestly, Seraphynx is actually the best Sprite to get, simply because dps rules popularity, and we don't need dps pets. The kitty makes a protective barrier and can drop hearts. I don't use my Maskeraith because all of us Tier 3 vets top the dps charts with our vog, skolver, and chaos sets. If battles drag, then we need the help of our pets.
