The brandish lines are pretty aweful... unless they're held up by the epic crutch known as AT.
I liked seeing damage fly out of people before the voltedge even swung at some points though, flippin hilarious.
That sword with asi max and AT is about the most broken thing in the game right now.

...with that said, how can one tell who the first one to use Brandish + AT was? I doubt anyone watches/plays LD 24/7 and notes that down.

He was the first.
I notice that because he use it for long time before someone else start using it the way he did.
The same with an Aequitas player ( I don't remember the nick but started with M) that start using Valiance way before the rest.
Saddly all cheap techniques that abuse of autotarget.
I can say the same about Sentenza and Namewithnumbers, he was the first with the hit and run technique. To kill that guy you had to wait until he run out of Boost.
Thanks God no one else use ancient. Everybody loves ASI too much.

Rest assured, I used to. Then I got Ironmight. Join the glorious Ironmight master race, filthy Ancient peasant! You get some more defence (it's 1.5x Skolver normal and 1x Skolver piercing if I remember correctly) and you skip the MSI debuff at the cost of a few pips.

I had to use it
Was the only way to get as much health as finesse members. The only way to resist those AT hits, I just had 3* health trinkets while those guys had some 4*.
Back then the only ones who use 3 hit combo was Chris and Ruby, now with brandish is pure spam. ( Talking about known people, I never talk about unknowns).

Just Brandishes? Vog Cub would have been better in that case, if I'm not mistaken. Defence diminishes the higher you and thus, having split to resist split damage would be better than doing as much as you can to resist only one of the damages.

I dont mind the FF or Sealed sword line AT, or the gun AT for that matter. Their latency hit boxes don't near have the range of the brandish for some reason. In a perfect world where everyone had a ping of 50 or less it'd be fine. (Mine fluctuates between 100-150)
Seeing people swing at air and connect - then at end match get like 25k+ consistantly... That's not skill.
Most of all it's not fun.
It's just people exploiting their gifted advantage.
