I am sure that sale brought in a lot of love and hate.
Well I am just new to buying and selling so, What happens after the sale?
Due to the prices I am sure lots of people will buy the prismatic, volcanic and divine stuff.
So after the sale (14 August is it?) will the prices of the prismatic and divine and volcanic stuff be back to 1mill+?

They will, but in a very, long period of time.
You will need to be patient. Players who were not involved in this sale will have missed out, and then they will gladly buy it off of you for high prices.
Don't expect to wait a month only... players won't play stupid.
In a year or two, they will become rare once more. After that, you can gladly sell for a high price.
Is waiting for 2 months enough ?

Well, what happens after the update is that OOO is going to put a bunch of random of accessories in the Supply Depot and start cycling them every week; meaning I won't have to play AH to get my dusky cat tail! (the casual player can dream, yes? no?)
It will take a very long time for thing to go back to where it use to be. I'm really not certain it will back at all now that people's trust in the item are shattered by this promo because you won't know what will around the corner! I'm all in for casual players to have good stuff but really it's a few people who buy ce that keeps games like SK afloat so what will motivate them to keep buying? OOO just showed us that buying stuff and waiting for the price to go up and sell is now risky so I doubt anyone will invest too much in future promo items anymore because of the risk. This'll probably keep item price low but also few as less people will buy it since you won't get as much bang for your buck as you use to.
This promo has gotten a lot people thinking about the future and I'm not too confident in saying that OOO wouldn't do this again in the future.
We will have a sale for the sake of congratulating the success of the previous sale. and so on.
