I was watching doctor who when i heard a strange sound. A sound i knew for sure i heard hundreds of times before, the shout of a Devilite!
Can someone confirm if this is real, a coincidence or I'm just crazy?!

Doctor Who, 5th series, episode one "The eleventh hour", at the minute 26:49 (better start from 26:40 to be sure...).

BTW sorry for any mispell/syntax error, i'm not a native english speaker :P

The BBC use generic sound effects as well as SK. There's several SK machinery sounds, as well as the SK Shock status-afflicted sound, in DW too.

Nick (or someone else) worked

Nick (or someone else) worked on a DW game right? Could be homage. Of course, it came out after SK did, but it implies that they were a fan beforehand.

It doesn't imply anything,

It doesn't imply anything, OOO uses sound libraries for many of their sounds it's more likely a coincidence than a conscious choice.

I'd bet money that Nick was

I'd bet money that Nick was into DW before he started working on SK. Although it's still likely that the sounds are a coincidence. That I wouldn't bet on.

Of course you're going to

Of course you're going to hear devilites here-and-there in life, because they sound like brass instruments.

Although it's surprising how many people in this thread heard it and thought it's a reference.
