with all of the people quitting due to this latest update, what will you play now (that is, if you even care to find this topic)?
What is everyone gonna play now?
: l
I was seriously considering a smart-ass reply, BUT I COULDNT. I SWEAR I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING SMART TO REPLY WITH.
Well I own a lot of PC games I haven't even played yet or maybe an hour or two that I'm gonna try, like:
Fallout New Vegas
Alpha Protocol
Bioshock 2
Bully
Far Cry 2
Then there's a bunch of games I played regularly I'll probably go back to as well:
League of Legends (played this a ton)
Crysis 2 multi-player
Starcraft II
Then there's a bunch of games that are coming out soon I'm getting that look awesome:
Duke Nukem Forever (next month!)
Dead Island
Maybe get The Witcher 2
Then there's getting a life once again; hit up the gym, go out more, drink, etc.
Some minecraft, build SK statues, hoping it will all revert to its old self.
Probably wont hapen some im going to check steam out for something NEW TO SPEND MY MONEY ON. (Yes OOO something ELSE IM GOING TO SPEND MY MONEY ON NOT YOUR GAME!!)
/sigh. Back to WoW. I'm so bored of it, though.
I was actually considering picking Fable 3 back up. But that's somewhat unrelated.
gonna go back to throwing my money at the stock market
Back to pokemon IV breeding and trading for me. And probably back to Puzzle Pirates. =/
Like the other thread suggests, terraria.
(yes it's on steam)
All the fun of being slammed to death by things that I don't have the proper equipment to deal with and all the creature grinding I want, plus a truly randomly generated world that actually REWARDS me for the danger that it takes to dig to the core, without being charged more than the price of the game, which is roughly ten or eight dollars, depending on what you're willing to do to buy it.
All I lose when I die are some of the coins I am carrying (which, if placed into storage, don't mean jack since death can't take coins from there) so there's nothing wrong with the game blindsiding me with unfair tactics.
Back to PuzzlePirates it is for me.
Not because of the patch though, but because I reached Tier 3.. I just have something of a limited attention span when it comes to games. Every few months I just have to change :D PP is the one game I always keep coming back to.
@ Epic-Girl
I'm assuming he means the non-existant update everyone thinks nerfed the piercing swords (If anything happened at all, it's the result of an engine update, not a direct nerf). As for real recent updates, I don't know what would make people quit, unless people are for whatever reason mad about dragon wings?
Back in the day, crafting costs for 3,4, and 5 star items were half of what they currently are. Creating a new item from a previously bound item resulted in an unbound item. Token reward equipment came unbound. There was no auction house and training hall. Recipes cost a bit more, or as with 5 star recipes, a LOT more. There were minerals in Clockwork Terminals. Joining at a terminal was an efficient way to get recipes without grinding through unsavory upper strata.
TL;DR: Rather more likeable conditions than what we have now.
Then this happened.
Ever since then, the 5/17 update has practically cemented its place as a bad word among the surviving oldsters.(Like me!)
EDIT: also y u necro
I hadn't even noticed the date on the OP, my bad XD
Idk what the update did. I recall a bit of extra lag at the beginning, but now I just got used to it.
As for other games... I might dabble back into Minecraft and give it another shot. Most likely I'll just go play Tf2 though.
Or, I'll play this game called "School" where you try to get accepted to a good college so you don't end up living your life being the clerk at a MacDonalds.
join bang howdy a great game by three rings!!! They just left it to die kind of...
First, nice necro.
Secondly, yeah nice necro.
Also I lied. Also no, but seriously. It's all over. Also this might be sarcasm.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure!
