When I click "Play" on Steam, the Spiral Knights icon will open up, and then it will disappear with a new Spiral Knights icon following it. Then, absolutely nothing happens. No black screen, no loading screen, nothing appears. Finder identifies that I am running Spiral Knights since it shows Spiral Knights on the upper left hand corner. I am running the most up-to-date Java version and every other game that uses Java is able to run perfectly fine. In addition, I was playing Spiral Knights flawlessly the last two days, and it just so happened to be unresponsive today. I uninstalled it, by deleting the contents folder from Finder, and then removing the icon. Then re-installing it again through Steam. It still didn't work. I uninstalled it a second time, this time using the Delete Local Content option in Steam. Then I re-installed it through Steam again, but it still had the same problem. I verified the local integrity of the game cache and it found 9 files failing to validate so it installed them for me. However, when the update and patching is done, Spiral Knight closes the patching screen and nothing else comes up besides the Spiral Knights icon on the Dock. I cannot close the application without using Force Quit and in addition, when i verified the game cache again through Steam, it continued to find the 9 files even though it stated all the files were validated.
All other games I have are playable. Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, Civilization 5, DotA 2, Team Fortress 2, RuneScape, MineCraft, etc.
