Spiral Knights keeps redownloading it self

The game keeps downloading 327 megabytes, when its done, i can play the game just fine, then i exit the game and try to play again at later time, it says failed to validate 9 files and that they'll be downloaded, and i have to download 327 megabytes of data again. It never stops even though I can play just fine after its downloaded. Help, please?

I'm playing on Steam on Windows 7, and I've never had a problem like this before, it only started happening since the last update on July 30th.

Update: After the downloading

Update:

After the downloading the 327 mbs of data, my SK file goes from 450 megabytes to 720 megabytes, i backed up my sk via steam and also by copying the folder over to another place. Will try to do a workaround until they fix this. SK discussion on steam i got a comment and someone had the exact same problem, 9 files, 327 megabytes.

Same Problem!!

Me and a friend played a while ago and have been offline for a while. We were planning on getting back into the game, but after installing it and running through the download, it keeps downloading every time we exit and restart the game. It takes around 45min to download every time and I am starting to think that it's not worth it anymore.

Edit: It happens when I try to play it through the browser aswell... Don't know whether that is normal though
