Please note that I haven't submitted a support ticket because they won't get back quick enough.

So my last energy purchase was on July 13th at 5:33pm according to my energy history. According to the wiki, "Accounts start out with a spending limit of $100 for a 30 day period--not a calendar month, but the past 30 days." Should that not have made my account able to purchase something again YESTERDAY if it is an actual 30 days? Yet I still cannot and it keeps saying I have reached my spending limit. Time is running short on the Supply Depot accessories and sending a support ticket only to have it resolved AFTER the sale ends is futile. The sale ends tomorrow if I am correct.

So why cant I make my energy purchase if my account is clear from any purchase within the last 30 days? Even the mail I got from my last purchase has been automatically deleted already (I don't delete my mails and in game and it says mails are automatically deleted 30 days after they have been sent)

so did you try or what

it'd be foolish NOT to, since chances are if they won't answer your support ticket in time, they won't see this thread in time either

I have, in case there is some

I have, in case there is some issue with my account that needs resolved, but in the mean time maybe the community has some insight i may have missed. Or it is still possible they could see it here first... not that they would/could do anything if they did.

If you're constantly having trouble with the spending limit, I suggest trasnferring your account to Steam. I don't think there's a spending limit on there?

>Didn't send ticket

>Doesn't get back quick enough

Excellent logic.

My account IS steam actually.

My account IS steam actually.

Cirno, in my past expierences with sending tickets it takes a few days for a response. Obviously that will be too long of a time if Im to be able to make a purchase before the supply depot sale ends.

Forum, in my past expierences

Forum, in my past expierences with sending forum replies it takes a few dazes for a read. Obviously that will be rather silly if the content in the post is extremely silly and no sense can be made of it.

Update

Amazingly, my support ticket got a reply already. However, its as though they didnt read it. They thought i was wanting my account limit raised and told me to go look at my last purchase to find out when i can make another. The ticket was all the info i provided here in my OP.

Spending limit is stupid imo; why place a restriction on how much someone spends on their own game?

.

It's to prevent fraud, or little Johny from stealing mommies credit card. (or as the billing faq says)

"Alas, due to issues with fraud and credit card abuse, we have a limit imposed on the total amount a player can spend without giving authorization to Three Rings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for you.

Accounts start out with a spending limit of $100 for a 30 day period--not a calendar month, but the past 30 days. This limit will easily be enough for the vast majority of players, but some may wish to spend more for various reasons.

As you spend near this limit it will automatically go up to $200, $400 and $800 slowly over time.

Should you wish to raise your Spiral Knights account's spending limit ahead of schedule, you may contact us and we will review your account to see if this is possible. Be sure to list the name of your main knight to speed up the process. Please note that we are unable to raise the limit in some cases. In those cases, the spending limit will still rise normally over time while the account is in good standing. "

Awww, OOO is such a thoughtful company. And here I started to believe what you players kept saying of how greedy they were. That's become a blatant lie, I am seeing.
