If each grew legs and we put them in a small arena for living swords, which would win?

And where would voltedge stand in all this?

No....

When the Combuster would get frozen it would melt instantly. When the Combuster would set the Glacuis on Fire it would melt and turn into a Cautery Sword.

Combuster Wins.

Voltedge would be spectating the match, shedding tears because she loves both these swords, and don't want to see them hurt eachother for her sake. She also feels guilty and responsible for the violence about to occur.

It all depends on chance. If Glacius can get a freeze in, then he can follow up with more charges that would hopefully keep Combuster frozen until dead. However, Combuster has more raw attack power and Glacius might not be able to endure it all before his chance to freeze inflicts. My money's on Glacius.

Oh, wait. I don't have a canned answer for this one. I'll comment after I run some tests.

COMBUSTA

Combuster wouldn't freeze because it's hot to the touch therefore melting the ice before it even gets to touch the Combuster. Then Combuster puts Glacius on fire knocking him 8 feet back against the wall.. and BAM... Glacius melts and Combuster wins.

NO! Glacius will WIN!

Combuster throw a powerful attack and melt Glacius. Glacius becomes Aquacius after melted. Aquacius throw Hydro Pump on Combuster. Combuster lose his fire and becomes a Cautery Sword.

Aquacius(Glacius) WIN! Why? Because Aquacius will flood the Cautery Sword(Combuster) with your powerfull Hydro Pump.

Well if they had shields, glacius would be at an advantage-- heater shield has less overall defenses than does grey owlite.

The Glacius beats up the Combuster only to get back slapped by the Acheron who runs off with the Voltedge.

Pssht. Fire does 2x damage to Ice types and Fire takes 1/2 damage from Ice attacks. Of course Combuster is the most OP sword in the game.

Guys, calm down.

Pokemon cannot be frozen when Sunny Day or Drought is in effect
Fire type attacks unthaw frozen opponents
The moves Flame Wheel, Sacred Fire, Flare Blitz, Fusion Flare, and Scald will thaw the user and deal damage to the opponent
Pokemon with Flame Body or Magma Armor Ability are completely immune to being frozen by Ice-type moves
Lava Cookies unthaw pokemon.
Freeze can be heal bell-ed, or aromatherapy-ed away.
