I know that it's possible to get a Callahan flinching menders in 1-2 person elite, but when more people come on, it's something that stops working. What I'd like to know if it's just a matter of heating the gun, or if it's impossible for a Callahan to knock down a gremlin mender in a 4 person T3 elite.
Also, before anyone asks, I like having it handy for Devilites and Wolvers since I don't have a piercing sword.
Unfortunately, I don't even have my Callahan to level 10 yet. If nobody else knows, I'd be happy to test once it gets there.
I have max damage callahan. Hitting with a full clip flinches them.
Your damage within a short amount of time need to be over a certain percentage of mobs health before they flinches so usually for high levels you need double shot to flinches them.
Generally, through most of tier 3, I can knock down menders with each hit. Not sure about the final stratum though.
It seems to stop working on gremlins after a certain point, but I haven't thoroughly tested it. Have you tried max damage bonus from gear and such? Hitting the gremlin with the full clip?
