I had full Vog with battle sprite perk fire resistance high and 2 5* fire resistance trinkets?
Will the fire resist bar on character overall be full? And also will it Resist FoV charge.
Sorry just asking because I don't know how to count the numbers on the gear.

Edit: Just realized what if I also had Fire UVs on Vog set like high?
from what smart pro players wrote in the forums once, its value 4 for 5* armor res, 2 for 5* trinks, 4 for max uv,321,highmedlow
value 10 is max res and status bomb immunity was 7 or 8 i think idk

Because I don't have Vog Cub Coat with Fire UVs and the Sprite perk with high fire resist and I also have no 2 5* Fire resist trinket and neither do I have a FoV So maybe now you get the idea why I did not try it myself :)

This kind of question is asked all of the time. Try searching Google for something like "spiral knights forum status immunity". I don't remember perfectly, but I seem to recall that fire resistance over about 11 points has no benefit (which is about what No-Thanks said above).
I did but I just did not understand the numbers :P So maybe you can say this thread is just to make me understand clearer about statuses
Do you mean that you want help understanding phrases like "11 points"? Read the wiki page "Abilities", to learn how status protections are measured numerically, and how they add. For example, if you have a Vog Cub set with a 5-star fire trinket, then you have 4 + 4 + 2 = 10 points of fire resistance. You might also read the wiki pages "Status effect" and "Fire"?
10 Points is not the most status resist you can have. I forget where, but I remember seeing someone test how to be immune to the floor traps in t3.
Pretty sure it was something like Max, Max, Max, Max, med, med. Which was the most you could get at the time. (4+4+4+4+2+2=20).
Now we get can 23 points with Pet Perks. One of my guild mates is actually making an Ice Queen set with Max Freeze UVs :P. So she'll be able to get 19 points of freeze resist without trinkets, but including pet perk.
Just to be clear, you can certainly have more than 10 points of status resistance. That's not the topic of debate. The question is whether 20 points of fire resistance is any better than 11 points of fire resistance.
I do not remember the thread you're talking about. If you could find it, I'd appreciate the chance to read it.
I recollect zeddy saying that after a certain point of resistance, more points have a only slight difference. don't know what point though.
Yeah, resistance and defence has to diminish. We don't know too much about statuses, though.
