I used to be confused between costumes and armor so I was looking for rose regilia recipies :P

It's not the costume or the armor, it's the survivor skill the player has........for me at least.

Since I started over 2 years ago, there weren't any shadow lair gear or accessories. But when I saw a regalia or vog, I was soooo jealous. But the one item I most admired was the argent peacemaker. Man I thought people who had that were god. My friend and I would stalk people with argent peacemakers.

Vokster's LD outfit; Skolver and Chapeau (when he was Cobalt coloured). I went up and complimented him. We chatted, made friends.

And then I met his friends. Now and then I joined him in Haven and they were all so shiny, I felt totally out of place in my Proto. I got myself a Jelly Helm (aiming for Ice Queen Crown in the far future) and called it my bag over the head.

I also complimented other folks in shiny outfits, chatted, made friends. (Also non-shiny ones, I'm generally rather chatty. :) )

Asked them to help with monsters. Got the occasional gift (I still don't know why), like a Cool Stranger Hat (along with 1kce, "For not begging."), Green Chapeau ("Because you're green, and a good friend.", and Military Dragon Wings (on the day they came out, also because I was green), and then the armour and hat I'd stick the wings and other stuff on once I could afford it (because they liked the idea).

Started my path on becoming shiny myself.

But other than that, 2 years ago, I thought that DA, GF, BTB, and practically every boss weapon was completely boss. Pulsars I thought were like, holy crap, he has a friggin hand cannon! MUT HAVE. That is, until I played with him.

For armors, I didn't really care about a lot of them, but the Halloween Masks (The perfects) looked cool. Never had a chance to get them. Sad.

When I first started out I thought the best weapon in the game was the Leviathan Blade. I often looked in the Auction House just to see it's power. As for armour, it was Skolver. I ended up asking this one person in white wolver armour what he was wearing. He replied, "Skolver." I then looked in the Auction House for the armour and for the recipie. Nothing was in either of those categories. I thought it was a piece of armour that could only be obtained from the Shadow Lairs. (The SL's had just come out when I started). I was immediately taken. But, my most treasured thing was the Crest of Almire. It looked wonderful, and the stats were amazing, I then pursued to make money and synthesize this majestic piece of equipment.

And then two years later when I finally get to 5*, DA and GF were late on my list of 5*s to make because of brandish buffs and DA nerfs. /cry

The snarbolax set might just be a redesign of the wolver set, but it has matching bomb, sword and shield for that 100% emo look..

Plus when I saw the T1 boss for the first time I vowed that I will wear his hide after tearing it from his body.

I thought the mercurial armor set was the greatest thing.... that and argent peacemaker/sentenza/divine avenger/gran faust.

Quicksilver set, back when it was a rare drop a la the Darkfang Shield.

The few times I saw Motor-cat (He was one of the only people to have the set before the Roarmulus release) in haven were awesome.

I thought Volcanic Salamander looked cool and then i gave up that dream. I always thought Skolver looked really cool though. Back in the day everybody had Vog and barely anybody had Skolver. So I went for that for my costume. Has that nice winter coat feel to it.

I looked up to... pretty much most 5*s, because I didn't have any of those things.

Long story short, now that I'm an end game player with more 5* weapons than most others I rarely admire anything anymore.

My favourite things back then however, were valkyrie mail and skolver coat, because those were the few things I liked to go with my tailed helm.

My first months in SK were just doing missions. I didn't care about what the others wear, I just wanted to (finally) get 3* set so I can pass HoH. Then I started to inspect people in Haven and I really liked the Mighty Cobalt helm+Azure/Mighty cobalt armor (the Azure helm covers the "face" and that's why I didn't like it). I wanted the Mighty Cobalt set! But first I crafted CIC (Cold Iron Carver, my first 4* item) and I wanted to "try" Lockdown, thinking I'm a pro with such a powerful sword! And when the match started, I saw (well, finally "noticed") them... the clones! The Vog Cubs- they looked cool BUT the white wolvers...they were amazing. Wearing a white, shining armor made from their fallen enemies (wolvers), they looked really really nice and I remember their powerful, shiny, divine toothpicks. They dashed at me, killed me and I saw what was that weapon - the Final Flourish. I was amazed... I wanted to be like them! When I went to Haven, I always inspected EVERY knight wearing the Skolver set. After some time, I had the Mighty Cobalt set instead of Ash tail because Cobalt was cheaper. I passed the 4* HoH and sold the Mighty Cobalt armor and helm. I decided to finally craft Skolver but I made the Skolver coat+Divine veil set because it was more "wise".

But now I hate the clones.-> I hate my knight, my armor. Here I am, wearing Skolver coat and Divine veil...

when i was watching videos on youtube . i saw guy [didnt remember his nick] wearing gunslinger armour and using guns . from that moment all i wanted was deadshot set ... after making deadshot armour i was really proud of myself :D then i realised that nameless poncho is better and deadshot ended as my costume for some time . FIN

Ven I was young, I admired deh dark mysterious yet underpowered sheen of the Shadowsun set. Now I am an merely an aging knight whom has grown accustom to my dark hats and my simple gunslingers sash for daily wear. Oh my how the times have passed, I remember that Dragonscale shield cut quite an impressive image at one time too. Now you ask me? its just swifty swifty swifty all day erry day = P

I thought all 5* armors were pretty damn awesome, but when I saw the Deadly Virulisk set.. I fell in love instantly. I learned very quickly that the Deadly Viru set wasn't as good as the skolver/vog clones, but I still wanted it. Maybe it was the lizard demon look, the poison seeping out of its claws, or the jaguar esque helm... I still don't know why I loved (and still love) it so much. Either way, I was enraptured and wanted to start anew. After all, my name sounded nubby and the lines I had chosen were awful (Dread skelly and Cold Iron Vanquisher). So I planned for a few days and deleted my main (without knowing that I could vendor my gear, oh well), and began afresh.

I wanted something caustic-sounding as my name, but most were already taken, even so long ago. Finally, I chose Venomousbiohazard. I remember, I planned everything out. I wanted the Deadly Viru Set with a Dread skelly shield, an acheron, DVS, and of course a biohazard. When the accessories were released I quickly planned out what I wanted to put on my set, and when the dragon wings were released I grinded for hours on surveys to get CE to buy those fancy wings. Damn, those fancy wings cost me quite a bit.

Also, my brother happened to be an extremely successful merchant, and he donated money to my character happily. In the end, it was almost a shared project. But finally, I have my DVS, Biohazard, Plague needle, full Viru set, and a fully accessorized Deadly Viru set. It only took two years of grinding, but here it is. To me it was anyone with a big sword. So basically GF and DA.

Armor wise, anyone who had divine mantle and royal jelly crown...cause that was my first 5* helmet and armor.

For me it was anyone who had better gear than I did.
