For me, I admired players who wore Azure Guardian armor. When I first started the game, and when I first saw those diligent Cobalt players, I thought that they were super pros of the game. I was dazzled by their shiny Aegis shields; dumbstruck by their thick, bright Leviathan blades. Their robe-ish armor made them seem as if they were highly experienced with the game. I had so much admiration for those players, I had a lot of envy for them; I wished to be like them, so, so badly. It was a dream of mine to become an Azure Guardian knight. I dreamt of the day that I would finally discard my proto set; I saw myself as a strong experienced player, slashing down my foes with my Leviathan, and holding my sparkly Aegis as I defended myself from them.
Sadly, those dreams turned into a nightmare once I became 5 star. Those players that I respected so much, they turned out to be garbage in comparison to non-Cobalt players. I was extremely shocked when I noticed their inexperience; after doing plenty of runs with them, and realizing that they revive 7x more than people who don't have cobalt armor, I decided to cut all my admiration ties towards cobalt players. That admiration turned into pity. But even so, those newbie days were one of my best enjoyments of the game; It was fun to admire people; I don't look up to many people nowadays.
I used to think Vog Cub set looked so cool....
...cut to a month later, when EVERYONE has the same damn set. Which is why it took me a whole year to even bother getting the Dusker coat.
