I just got out of a gate which started off as small rubberband hiccups but progressively got worse. A guildmate said he is experiencing the same thing right now. I was 3 barring the whole time

I recorded the last half of the gate so you can see:

Skip the beginning as I was adjusting my window. On an somewhat related note, those java freezes are still here. I know a dev mentioned they were trying to track that down and fix it int he latest patch.

I have noticed an issue since

I have noticed an issue since the patch where I will rubberband for a good five seconds at random with my latency meter never dropping under four bars. I wonder if it has to do with the upstream fix in the latest patch?

Worst lag ever

My sister and I had the same problem. Both of us kept rubberbanding horribly and pretty much rendered the game unplayable. At first we thought it was just our ISP being stupid but everything outside of SK works just fine.

i'm also suffering from the lag as shown in the video. i was fine like last night 3 am PST, and had never experienced anything close to this at all. only happens when i'm in a dungeon. and i've only been in T3, dont know if that's related.

Well I'm pretty glad it isn't

Well I'm pretty glad it isn't just me.. @Dirt: I agree, it definitely doesn't seem like a latency issue. I've had lag in this game before but this is clearly different. When I am rubberbanding it is like everything else in the dungeon like AI is shut off. I never get hit while I'm warping so although I cannot hit any mobs they also can't hit me which is pretty bizarre. It's almost like the entire game is hiccuping and not just java now. With regular lag I would often come out of the jump getting mauled to death but as you can see in the video I barely get hit at all.

I hope this can be fixed soon as the game has become completely unplayable. :/

I also had a super and persistent rubberbanding attempt at the clockworks. My latency meter was at 4.

Thought It Was Only a Mac Thing

I have been having huge lag spikes since the last update. I talked to a gm about it and they said 'their are known issues affecting mac computers' (i still cant open the ah), so i assumed it was only a mac thing as it was supposed to have been fixed w/ the patch. Its good to know i'm not the only 1........but yeah, they are definitely worse and more frequent since the patch.

Same here

I also experience lag spikes on just about EVERY dungeon i go into. The screen freezes and during the freeze time it acts as if i'm still holding any buttons i was holding when it froze, and suddenly i often find myself in a pack of monsters with 1 health bar left. And i use Windows.

Same on a Windos Vista Platform

Last night I was playing and started having lag issues where the client seemed to freeze and then kick in again after a few seconds. I think this is the rubberband effect that others have described. Makes it very difficult to adventure as others have said you often find yourself amoungst monsters that attack immediately to inflict damage when I would ordinarily be able to dodge or block.

It progressively got worse as my trip went on and included a few server disconnects as well.

I play on a PC running Windows Vista

I was experiencing this last

I was experiencing this last nite as well. We were fighting JK and I was like stuck for 20 secs before I could move. My whole party was experiencing this. Although when I was soloing I didn't have the problem.

I've had a few moments of

I've had a few moments of rubberbanding, but nothing too horrible. What I'm having trouble with is certain enemy attacks that like to hit you before they're done charging up. Only a few attacks seem to do this so far, and they're all AoE attacks. The main culprits are the (Giant)Lichen Colony's AoE attacks and the Jelly Kings AoE attacks.

About 50% of the time, those attacks hit me before the attack broadcast (the red/yellow markings that appear under the enemy) is done, meaning there's no time to block. I never have this trouble with any other attacks, so I don't know what it is about AoE attacks the game is having trouble with. It's easy enough to adapt to the Lichen Colony's attacks, since they're relatively predictable, but the Jelly King's attacks seem more erratic, sometimes even one right after another. Fighting the Jelly King seems like nothing but dumb luck at the moment for me because of this.
