Why is there a full inspect?

Seriously, why is this an option that has to be toggled on? And then resets each time you log off? What's the point of not letting everyone see eachother's gear automatically? If anything there should be a toggle to HIDE your gear, though I still can't imagine why someone would want it. And why only weapons/trinkets?

*boggles*

I suppose they made it opt in, which is a reasonable choice. But forcing someone to renew that choice every time they log on is a bit silly, and people have been reporting this bug for quite some time now.

Just goes to show you they don't read bug reports or suggestions. How difficult could it have been to make it remember your toggle on/off choice? Like one line of code? Was that too much for you to add in this latest update? Amateurish decision after amateurish decision, and this is from a company who's been developing games for the better part of a decade.

Although I don't feel like defending OOO's, after the latest update, I will in this case.

Software development teams often have prioritized lists of bugs/corrections/modifications to work through. Each one takes anything from 15 minutes to a week or more to sort out. So, if this bug has been given a low priority/importance level, and the bug list is very large (likely), it can take quite a while for this bug to work its way up the list and be corrected.
In the ideal world, they would employ 1,000,000,000 software developers, and get it fixed within 60 minutes, but in the real world, the (presumably) small dev team will take time fixing all the 100's (?) of such issues. Also, don't forget, they may be involved with several future and past games.

Also, speaking as a developer, it's not likely one line of code. Adding a new persistent variable flows through many layers of code. The work involved vs. the payoff... it's reasonable to me that this would be a very low priority item.

Uh, speaking as one who develops code in general. I am not an employee of Three Rings.
