Maybe it's just me but i'm fairly certain that you can guarantee to get the treasure vault on 'random floors' by pressing the advance button on the elevator at a certain time. Me and several members of my guild 'fabiant' (woo fabiant rules) have noticed that for a few hours at a time you can get the treasure vault floor every time if you you advance on a certain second (hopefully that made sense) however others have said that it is calculated randomly. For two days in a row i have been able to get treasure everytime on iron skull gate after emberlight however this has only worked when going solo and after a few hours it changes to a different second that you have to advance on but once you've worked it out then you seem to be able to farm for crystals, sparks and crowns for any amount of time. I really want to know if i'm correct or just super lucky so please try it and reply or if your a gm please tell me.
Long live Fabiant!
The Trick To the Treasure Vault
if you are reading this then i would love it if you could:
1) go to emberlight on iron skull gate
2)choose a number between 0 and 9
3) go through the first floor after emberlight (the decon zone)
4)on the elevator before pressing advance now wait untill the amount of seconds gets to the number you chose and press advance
5a)if you get the treasure vault repeat the process using the same number and if you get the vault again continue this process to get as many rarities as you want then post you results onto this page on the wiki, however if you dont get the vault again see 5b
5b) if you dont get the vault try another number and then repeat the process untill youve tried all 10, if you dont get the vault at all then please post your results but if you do then follow 5a
thank you.
People care more for grinding mats and orbs than playing the bloody game. And then you guys wonder why Nick doesn't like the community; And then you wonder why we don't receive new playable content.
im using it right now, if i wait the whole ten second i get it every time
I've yet gotten a treasure vault in Iron Skull on the 20th depth since it went live. Because I think you're full of it, I'll bite and try this challenge.
So far I can see certain numbers give certain levels (ex: 0th second gives Power complex, 1st Treasure Vault, 3rd Power complex, 5th Graveyard), which only reminds me of the 'randomness' of shiny Pokemon (hint: you can find the exact second a pokemon will be shiny with exact IV's).
But then I thought a second a realised it doesn't matter, because stop-watches can be started at any moment, how will I know if my stopwatch is on the same second as the game? There's no /info for the game's date.
So to jump to conclusions:
You may be on to something, but don't muck up the wiki with this (put it on the talk page or your own).
Lol bambii :P
Interesting. You could be on to something, or just tried to make logic out of nothing. Who knows.
But I would be very surprised if OOO did not use some kind of random object generator to determine the floor. Who knows? I think YOU knw!
Press: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start
50 extra sparks.
"Random" floor rotation is actually just hidden, not random. Certain trays can take up to 15 minutes to rotate a single dome, so that's what you could be experiencing.
I've heard of a guild called the lancer knights (least i think it's the right spelling). They have a wiki page and they are collecting data on this game.
i just go through iron skull gate by.....
grabbing key in gremlin place and open gate with treasure boxes in it kill all monsters dat are not locked then i get to the elevater hoping for TV .........then repeat
No. Once you step on an elevator, the level is fixed.
Levels rotate based on a timer. Find the timer and you'll know wich level is next. But it has nothing to do with the advance button itself.
If you manage to match the time, yes, you'll chain treasure vaults again and again (until you accidentally complete a run slower or faster without knowing and mess it up)
