I've noticed something maybe a bit peculiar

So I've seen some Sprite harnesses that glow and some that don't. So far I'm not seeing a relation between which harness it is and if it glows. I've seen the first level Iron one glow, while some didn't. In fact I've seen all three levels of all four different harness types glow while someone else's didn't. Not sure if this is intentional, a bug, or I'm seeing texture glitches.

I keep my graphics at High all the time. I see one glowing and another not glowing while the two can be right next to each other.

To clarify, by glowing, I mean as if prismatic accessories glow (eg. Prismatic Mech'Tennas or Prismatic Glow Eyes). The personal color on the harness is what glows.

Gotta Catch Em All

Maybe one is more "evolved" than the other.

No actually. I've seen level 100 sprites that don't glow and some that do. I've seen 4* sprites that glow and some that don't. I thought maybe it was connected with prestige, but that is just as inconsistant as their levels. I have no clue what determines if they glow or not. Mystery thinks maybe it depends on if you are a paying player or not, maybe even spent over a certain amount. But there is no way to descreetly test that theory that I can immediately think of.

It is rather strange.

The glow really is quite random it seems, some even seem a bit brighter than others. Unless a bunch of people with rank and prestige at all different levels, or even just people who say whether they paid money or not, unless many just showed pictures of their own sprites here saying whether they've paid or not, there isn't much of an easy way to tell what could possibly cause it. I've spent money, and my sprite has that glow, and just about any other option seems to be pointless as someone always manages to show up that doesn't seem to match the theory, money is the only thing left I can consider at this point unless anyone else who actually reads the forums knows of some other reason that could cause this.

That's a negative, Philoso

That's a negative, Philoso Feather, hunger doesn't seem to be connected at all.

What about bathing the sprite in buttermilk beforehand?

I don't think with that

I don't think with that blizzard going on our milk will go sour any time soon, so it isn't that either.

I always run at high detail at smooth frame-rate on my powerful PC, so.... They all glow for me :3

@Tweeter: That is just the thing. I am at high graphics and smooth frame rate as well and not all of them glow. In fact, some glow more than others. This is the case for both Mystery and I.

I could check it with lower graphics and see if that effects anything at all, but regardless of that not all of them glow.

And here is the result of

And here is the result of that test:

You graphical setting should have little to no effect on whether they glow or not. I found some that were glowing, lowered my graphics to low, and it was still glowing. I tried this on several and it was always still glowing. It would be no different than accessories. Prismatic accessories that glow always glow no matter what setting you have the graphics on (I don't speak for crappy graphics cards).

My next theory would be specific colors with specific sprites with certain levels. I say this because I don't think I have seen a blue hue of a seraphynx (4* and 5*) that DOESN'T glow.
