I figured the first half of tier 3 or Stratum 5 would be best, but after two floors I start finding Radiant Fire Crystals. (Although I did find a few Eternal Orbs of Alchemy, which is ALWAYS nice.) This may be because I play on Elite, so I swapped to Advanced. But now the crystals rarely drop at all. (It may just be a bad run.) So tell me, what are the best floors to farm Shining Fire Crystals and on what difficulty?
Yeesh, the difficulty doesnt affect anything. Still getting the 5* fire crystals. This game hates me, I have SO MUCH 4* stuff to level up...
Gremlin stratums drop 30% more rarities, so try making some of them in the arcade....
That sounds unusual. The TV should be in d20 and you shouldn't start finding Radiants until d22, regardless of difficulty.
I generally find Shining Crystals between d17-d21, so pick and choose missions or arcade runs between those depths.
If the Iron Skull gate is still up, going to tier 3, running through the decon zone, then trying for the treasure vault (if graveyard, maybe, if neither graveyard nor vault, go back to missions and redo). Arenas give plenty of fire crystals, stratum 5 should still give shining mostly even if it is on elite.
