I'm talking drop-wise. Do Giant Lichens drop more loot than if you killed each lichen individually? Which devilites drop the most loot? And then you have to consider different types of loot - mabye specific ones drop more heat than coins? Does anyone actually know? Looking at the wiki doesn't seem to tell me.

I'm like 90% sure that when you kill a large Lichen colony, it still drops the same total loot as killing each individual Lichen.
And I've found that all Devilites drop the same loot, regardless of type.

I defeat one of the big blue dudes, just to have another devilite turn into another big blue dude, and I'll still have those irritated overworkers chasing my little butt, having nothing accomplished, repeating the same cycle of devilite transformations; all I'm doing is using up more sparks of life for the sake of experimenting a theory that does not seem worth doing.

Just so you know what I'm referring to when I call the Devilite types by name.
Usually I go for the Overtimers first, for they tend to do the most damage. If there are no Overtimers, try to burst down the normal Devilites before the Pitbosses gets their hands on them. Finally, kill the Yesmen, else they'll turn into Overtimers when you kill the Pitboss.

Sorry, I'm too lazy to actually look up the names, sometimes. I forgot they were called Pitbosses. I thought I had Overtimers right lol. And yes, I do the same style that you do. It took me a while to learn how to fight devilites, and I find that way of fighting them in undercity seems to be the best plan of action against them.

I very much doubt you have one...
but Voltaic Tempest (Shock Mist Bomb) is handy for Devilites. It can cancel their attacks and is most useful in large crowds, like when there's a party button in Develish Drudgery. But for Clockwork Tunnels, a Piercing Sword will do just fine.
I don't really know a great tactic for Lichens, I like to let them all merge together. :D

The bigger they are, the bigger the treasure :D
