I have one.

I use it when I'm running through the arcade for Basil runs so then I won't have to constantly be switching weapons for ones that cause that bit of extra damage for certain types.

Ha, I hate to rain on your parade, but Levi's charge can deal 300+damage x 3 AT POINT BLANK RANGE TO A TARGET THAT CAN'T MOVE which = 900+. Decapitates any turrets INSTANTLY. So Sudaruska is a side-grade of the Levi primarily due to its damage, stun, and ASD, so they'er balanced nonetheless...

Oh no! I said the secret word didn't I?!?

Meh.

Meanwhile, a Combuster charge attack does 900+ damage.

Meanwhile, Combuster is the most boring sword in the game and is the main reason why I've started becoming a sword hipster in PvE.

My Loadout

Will I get in trouble for this? Probably.

Will it be worth it? Hell yes.

I am a pure swordsman (no guns or bombs with this guy) and I am only going to get ONE sword, the Leviathan Blade.

Good day people.

Lets cut to the chase.

The Leviathan Blade will never go out of style.

Player Pro: It's being part of Mission armor crafting recipe reward sets making it easily created quicker than any sword for any player and it looks good all shiny gleaming and stuff. The Damage Radius, Attack speed, and attack power are more than formidable in the hands of a veteran or any knight with common sense and fancy footwork in the field PvE or PvE. I mean c'mon this blade is literally a triple threat. ( Get it? Triple threat. Cause of the Spin move. :) )

Player Con: The particular style of every knight is different. Example: (my first blade blade was a Troika up to Triglav.. the avenger wasn't my style I partook the roll of ice knight in my guild. Had there been something like the Crystal Leviathan (ICE SWORD VARIANT) I would have made it my first weapon choice hands down.)

Player Con: Other blades can out class the Leviathan based on added animations, effect range, and are more than just normal but shadow and elemental damage advantages.

Player Con: Newcomers don't respect the effect RADIUS of the blade a 360 spin that can rape a close knit mob or player(s).

One Ice Knights Opinion---->The blade damage leveling heat containment etc. cap level should rise with your ranking/guild rating/and achievements so in the end the blade remains the most powerful and retains an iconic respect leverage going on to explain -WHY- its used by nearly ALL of the elite guards. This would give any knight tremendously hard earned deserved respect you cant just buy with a credit card or be given by a friend with a bunch of unbound gear to hand you for the most part. So a balance would be maintained. Flexibility drop for Immense power and it wont seem so improperly generic in the hand of NPC's.

Pure awesomeness.

The Leviathan Blade is awesome. It is a little bit weak but it becomes insane with damage bonuses.
I'm no fan of the reskins (Scissor, Lionheart) though. But don't worry, the Levi is still alive.

Hmmmmm

Well I'm not a big fan of the Levi line as having used them before I find the knockback to be annoying as I often have to chase down this monsters again because of the knockback... Levi is outdated anyway I only find noobs who kill me with it or kill themselves...
Anyway Triglav + electron vortex is waaaaaay more fun. I've even put my combuster and anchron away for a few missions so I could enjoy these 2 OP weapons^^^... I'd rather a noob Polaris user than one with a levi.

Though it does look pretty sweet!!!

True to my name I am but a dream....

With a powerful attack that pays homage to one of the most successful console series (Legend of Zelda) in existence I doubt that such a blade will ever die.

SPIN ATTACK FTW!

What really killed it...

It's nice to see some leviathan users, but one of the posters was right. What really diminished the popularity of leviathan was the arsenal stations and loadouts. Before, it was common to see players with elemental weapons having trouble cutting down shadow monsters. Now with the load outs and arsenal stations at each level, there is little reason to use normal weapons.

However, it is the most accessible weapon to make for new players and very easy to use. If you don't have a autogun or bomb, the charge attack can be a good substitute taking down Trojans, clearing arenas, and fighting all 3 bosses (Jelly King, Roarmulus twins, Vanaduke). One you get the resources to create more specialize swords, leviathan will eventually be sitting in your closet.

It is a difference of clearing a level in 5 minutes or 10 minutes. Using a normal sword like leviathan will take much longer, especially the deeper you delve into clockworks.
