My life: As a teenage sprite owner

Not your typical knight life.

It was Saturday morning, 9:23, and I was in my friends guild, just like a typical kid in a typical guild room. I'm sure you can picture it -- the little chairs and tables, the usual spookats and casting books, my friend and I talking about our missions. Just a normal moment in the life of a knight.

But then my friend asked, ''Have you been feeding your sprite?"

It was another reminder that, no, I wasn't a normal knight. I was a knight sprite owner, who was on food stamps to feed her sprite. I excused myself from my friends guild and hurry to the food alchemy machine, where I found out I only had a few dark matter.. ''You still don't have enough again don't you?" he told me, scowling. I replied saying that i only get a nipple of dark matter every time I go on a mission. He said ugh, but then he shook his head at me as if to say, ''You really have bad luck.''

Such moments -- and there were lots of them that month -- made me realize how out of place I felt in with everyone. I've been getting help from my friend, thank goodness, and have been working in McDonalds ever since. Still, I can't ignore the fact that my life is really weird compared with the lives of most knights my age.

Everything was great on July 30, the night the sprites came out. I was a apprentice. My friend and I were excited, but that night,when he asked me to come with him on the mission. He grabbed my hand, and we started heading to elevator. He kept stopping and checking his arsenal and telling me how dumb I was. I was laughing, but I was also flattered. I know how stupid it sounds, but I was.

Anyway, one thing led to another . . .

My friend and I are very close, so the following week, I told him about what had happened. I couldn't keep it a secret -- I was so scared. I just had this feeling that something was going on inside me. I told him I was on food stamps because I couldn't feed my sprite because the missions never gave me a lot to survive on. He said it's going to be okay and he will help me out.

A few weeks later, I went on a mission, and found some Dark matter It was hardly anything though. I groaned and my friend laughed, and later that day, we were at haven. I went to the food Alchemy machine, still not enough to support my sprite.

My friend and I just looked at each other -- annoyed and numb. I could tell my friend was disappointed, but he wasn't mad. I think that's because he had a sprite too so he understands, and he has troubles too I guess. Anyway, after the annoyed looks got off our faces, both of us felt a little nervous. We never even considered a giveaway; my friend and I are kawaii. And begging was out of the question; I couldn't imagine giving my Kanji away.

From the start, I wanted to be a good owner and decided to teach myself everything about sprites. My friend and I thought having a sprite would be fun and cool and liked the evolutions. I read some information about them, and used them. I knew I had to get a lot of Dark matter. But for all I had to get mineral for two!

My ownership was considered at high risk because I was so careless. Except for the using part. Whoa! They really help out! After 2 hours of playing, we got tired and logged off. Playing with our sprites was so fun back then.

I couldn't wait for my friend to log back on, but he called me, I froze. It was like, "I forgot to feed my sprite yesterday!" I never felt more like a little apprentice. With lots of my friend's help, I found some Dark matter that was worth something. Fed it, and leveled it up. Finally evolved it. It was really useful throughout the week.

My relationship with my sister pretty much ended when I told her about the sprite. She never really came around to the idea of helping. She stayed out of the picture, and since we aren't really on good terms, I think it's best that way. I don't know what will happen in the future. Right now, I don't want to think about it.

So you are saying battle

So you are saying battle sprites are really hard to level up because you don't have the required food? Ok first, don't feed it the favored food item, only use it when it requires it. 4* and 5* mats level up Battle sprites really quickly. If you want minerals, go do arcade. They usually have more mineral rooms.

@Soulstalker Tell me that

@Soulstalker
Tell me that with a straight face when you hit level 75. Regular 5* mats do almost nothing. You're better off buying pet food after selling off your 5* mats.

Made me cry. What a touching

Made me cry.

What a touching story.
Let's start up the "Help Feed Kanji Food drive" in order to benefit teenage sprite owners, who've been abandoned, and in need of assistance.
We can be a nonprofit organization, so we can avoid those 2% conversion taxes.

The first unsanctioned relief squad.

It's a Concrete Jungle out there

Don't spoil your Sprite all the time. Shadow Dust should be a treat on level days, not an everyday thing.
