So I somehow wondered onto Spiral Knight's Youtube Channel and I watched the first promo vid. I had some sudden realization that there's a lot of stuff that'll answer a lot of our questions D:

So going back to the Video i realized some significant things:
A Kat Hiss Cowl is Present at the RELEASE of the GAME (It was planned all along???)
And the second image, are they Vog Cubs?
Third image is a player with the Kat Hiss Cowl on.

As the days go by the mystery gets thicker D':

0:40 Black Kat Cowl. The

0:40 Black Kat Cowl.
The white/gunner kat cowl appears throughout in a modified version.
0:53 bombs are used as they are now in Blast Network.
1:00 Bloogatoo the size of a black kat.

And to answer you question: yes those are Vog cubs.

On your second picture the guy at the bottom looks like he's holding the Frost Sword? I don't really know much about it but I'm guessing that's what it is by the looks of it.

I think it's a 1* sword because the Frost Gun is 1* :P, Plus it doesn't look very strong compared to 5* swords.

No, it's been in the beta but not in the full release, and because people kept begging for it to be put back in, it was.

There wasn't really any balance in the weapon lines. Some 2 star weapons (specifically, the Spur and the Firotech) were stronger than some 4 and 5 star weapons and could easily take the player through tier 3.

The freeze sword is just a more bluish retextured cold iron carver.
Same details on the edge of the sword but without the glowing eye on the handle.

This has to be (or was before the battle sprites update) the most grinded game I had ever seen, people of all ranks would only play FSC to get the 5* items and the cash it would give, it was the most played/grinded level in the entire game.

the third image is the path

the third image is the path to the tortodrone. you also see a lot of old stuff in that video like gold monsters, and small radius immedeate charge & placing bombs

I have no idea. i18n doesn't contain any info on it. I presume he saw a screenshot of it from the beta?

I think the Brown one was called "Feral Kat Hat" but I'm not certain.
