Why is this event only one week long?

Last time, it was 2 weeks.

I find it really stupid to make a week-long event with the intention that it "will likely take multiple events" to complete and "will run for a limited time but will return again some time in the future", yet space the events 7 months apart.

1 week is not nearly enough time to collect even CLOSE to 200 tokens (amount for 1 5* item).

Also, if you're going to do a grinding-based event, could you maybe do it in the middle of summer, not towards the end when school is starting back (and I believe that's the age group they're trying to aim for)?

I agree. I was initially excited for this event (missed the last one), and was looking forward to spending the month Kat hunting in the clockworks. Now that I find out its only running for one week, I'm far less motivated. If I'm lucky, I'll get enough pages to get one of the hoods, and nothing else (and it doesn't help that there isn't a single undead strata anywhere in the arcade). Unless this event is going to run far more frequently and during the summer when I'll have more time to play, I'm seriously considering giving up on get the 2 cowls I want.

You know, this game is played ALL OVER THE WORLD. My vacations ended 2 weeks ago. Not all the schools follow the american calendar (or wherever you live) -.-

Ok ok, my bad, I understand that this is a worldwide game, I was just using the American schedule because that's where OOO is based. 2 months ago would have been a good time to do it though, right? Before summer ended?
