I don't know what shady dealing he and Kozma have been up to, but if Basil is selling recipes that bind upon purchase, I just don't know. Guess buying boss recipes for friends is out. oh well.
So about Basil
Basil recipes don't bind you can still give them to ppl unless you have learned the recipe already.
Edit: was there a stealth patch?
My guild and I were at d23 and the recipes in the shopping cart window had the blue binding diamond. Upon hovering on the recipe, it did say 'bind upon purchase'. The recipe in the cart was a Barbarous Thorn Blade.
I just don't see the point of this. It further hurts the teamwork aspect in my mind.
Perhaps they want to force people to go into the clockworks and find their recipes rather than rely upon me to sell it to them?
Either way, I think we should boycott basil. Maybe even start a union of some sort. This is Bull Sprite.
I vaguely feel like that tag was always there, and gotten some panties twisted over it.
Nonetheless, I ran a t2 to basil and bought a rock jelly helm. It's on ah now.
just wondering...
if basil sells bound recipes and so does the hoh..
where you get no bound ones to put on the AH?
I imagine special recipes (like the Barbarous Thorn Blade?) would be bind on purchase while more common ones wouldn't bind until they're used.
yes but all the common ones can be bought from the hoh
brox, HoH recipies are bound.
well, I guess the unbound recipies will skyrocket now. "WTS barbarous thorn shield recipe for 100k cr" ect.
Basil's recipes are not bound, just checked it.
This rumor gets started every few months. I wonder what in the user interface causes it.
"I wonder what in the user interface causes it."
Haha. Good substitution!
Is basil really? That sucks.
