^ After you kill the Kat tokens only drop for the party leader? I've joined in on some other's Black Kat encounters and I've never been able to get tokens out of them and the leader always gets 3. Or am I just having bad luck?

The dev have fixed a tremendous exploit from the last time where you could invite after the kat was dead (they may have fixed that during the event earlier this year). Now you must be on the floor BEFORE the kat spawns to get any loot. This might also be true of all enemies, but Black Kats are the ones who's loot you're looking for most.

Last Black Kat event made me realize how important a big guild was. Everyone in guild chat was shouting kat whenever they saw one and everyone would just ninja their way in each others' parties. Everyone got around a hundred tokens a day.

Book thievery wouldn't have been a problem anyway, due to the non-shared loot collection?
I miss ninja-ing parties, that was my favorite part...
after the black kat spawns, anyone who joins doesn't get any tokens
