Guild name : Hitchhikers

Long story short, my GM who I will not name (Blind-Frog) tried to do some kinda black magic trick with the GH and broke it. Now the upkeep we pay is 0 and the system keeps taking 0 crowns as upkeep. Along side this our GH hasn't returned to default and we still have our rooms and floors. When we enter design mode, and try to rename a room it keeps saying that "This location has been removed" Now I have nothing against 'ghost rooms in a parallel dimension' but I still wanna name my room so devs, plea@@@@$$ee halp! Here are the screenshots. Sorry I couldn't upload it to tinypic or imgur. Some technical problem. The most recent screenshots on this page ( http://knight-crazy.tumblr.com ) I am in no way trying to attract attention to this page. Just trying to give you guys a fully detailed bug report.

We've had three basic expansions with no upkeep to cough up to for the loooongest time... Looks like the jig is up!

SO, to explain -- I bought the three expansions to purchase the mist well (when we were still able to use it to multiply mist), then went to the guildhall console to remove the expansions. Instead of waiting for the guildhall to update in design mode, instead of waiting for each expansion to disappear before removing the next one, I removed each one before the timer for removing the first expansion hit zero. So when the guildhall updated... all the expansions were still there. It was kept on record in the GH log that the expansions had been removed and that we had NO expansions, so the upkeep went back to zero crowns per week.

We can still edit the hall and place furniture in those expansions. We can still publish the hall, and the expansions & furniture will be there.

Technically, the hall was supposed to revert back to a lobby of sorts, but now we just have the basic expansions I'm slowly filling up with chairs. I haven't tried purchasing back expansions to test guildhall-updating bugs further (I won't do that, really; despite the lies I've told, I don't poo crowns, Gearless). I did report this three times in the first week with our broken hall, but didn't get a reply nor had the guts to confess in the forums that I broke a hall (again?), so... /shrug. I have a short, insignificant history of breaking guildhalls this way... I may or may not have been on crack as I broke things... 'pologies that I haven't dropped a note in the forums way-back-when about this... and no, Hardfault, when the devs fix our guildhall, we'll have just the lobby-part of it, and we'd still have to buy back the expansions all the same to have rooms to name...

(also, I'm not guild master! I am an 'officer'! You're an 'officer', too, Mr. "Hardfault"! 'look who's deciding what to do with the guild anyway! x)

Upkeep is free until next week. Don't you pay attention to patch notes?

Oh Little-Juances always so curious!

This upkeep thing has been there much before this update. It's been like this, I'm guessing, for more than weeks now.

/sad

Honestly I am a bit disappointed that no one has looked into this issue or at least replied to it. But I still have faith in the OOO team and I await some kind of assistance with this problem :)

Hahah, for some reason I thought you meant a Spiral Knights GM, not a "guild master". Man, I think that's enough Skittles for one day...

What funny thoughts you have!

I never thought of it that way! Hopefully it doesn't confuse the devs as well.

Heya! Thanks for letting us

Heya!

Thanks for letting us know. In the future, the best way to request GM assistance is to submit a support request - you can do that by pressing F1 or the ? button at the bottom left of the screen. Support requests are monitored virtually all the time as they come in.

A wild dev appeared! Maskeraith I choose you!

Thanks a lot for the reply Hyperion, really appreciate it! As Blind-Frog said in the second post in this thread, she did report the bug in-game ( I did report this three times in the first week with our broken hall, but didn't get a reply nor had the guts to confess in the forums that I broke a hall (again?)) but I never thought of filing a support request. I'll keep it in mind. Sorry for the trouble!
