Could you get more than 100 mist energy? Because for upgrading your weapons you need 200-400 energy. Or do you need CE?

ya it best u save up for CE its not easy at first but once you get started it gets easier
ME will never get increased
Your mist energy caps at 100, which recharges in about 22 hours. You can instantly restore your mist energy if you have a Mist Tank, but those are hard to come by.
To answer your question though, no. You'll need to buy CE with crowns or money.
