Once upon a time there was a dungeon run called JK.
The people of SK loooved JK. Surely it was the most efficient and honest way to make decent CR.
They would do JK after JK, happily spending ME and CE on it.

Because they knew that no matter how much CE they spent, they would be making a profit from the crowns they received from the run.

Then suddenly, due to changes in the world of CE (some say involving INSANE crafting costs, but this is a story for another time), the prices of CE skyrocketed! The market hit 5k/100, and even came close to 6k/100!!!

From the top of T2, to the end of JK, the happy SK player could make around 8000 crowns per run. But oh and woe, with the increase in CE price this is no longer possible. With an average price of 5k/100 per CE, the player would have to spend 4k just to run the JK! (Thats 80CE, for 8 floors).

The rest of the story is simple math:
8k profit per run
4k cost per run
-----------------
4k net profit per run

And thus, the profit per JK run, exactly matches it's cost. And JK is no longer an efficient way to make crown.

It's understandable that

It's understandable that you're upset, but your "story" leaves out other factors and seems to be you just typing out of frustration. Posts like this won't change anything and only serve to maybe allow you to release some of your anger. If that was your intention, then disregard this reply. Otherwise, it would be more beneficial for you and your fellow players to voice a composed and respectable message providing solutions to the problems you notice.

Doing JK runs is still

Doing JK runs is still profitable. As long as CE doesn't go above 5K it's both fun and challenging. The extra crafting prices only mean you have to grind twice as much, and I can see how that may be unnerving to some. Now, if CE were to skyrocket we'd have a problem.

It went down today but its bound to go back up.
Right now the only profitable way to play this game is purely with mist. CE must be horded for crafting.

Spending CE for dungeons is not efficient, because the cost of replacing the CE is more than the crowns you make from it.

@symon17 : I dont normally respond to people who claim they know stuff but offer no facts or opinion because in reality they know nothing, so ill leave it at that.

Run the first 3 levels of Jelly king, before the king(3 right after terminal)
I usually make 8k, thats 8k off of 30 energy
3 times of doing that and Im at 24k, with an extra 10 mist, and some recharging already
This is because multiple people I know are always at terminals
If you can do this, you won't care about money in game

Exactly. So why the need for the short-story to begin with? A stupid post to begin with deserves a stupid post in kind.

If the OP was trying to make this a satire piece by implying that all that nay-saying in the other threads is bunk by showing the JK is still profitable, then he could have definitely made a better attempt at it. But hey, the way it is right now, you can't even tell if it's literally whining or if it's a clever troll in disguise. I'm leaning on the former.

Did a full JK run yesterday, starting from Moorcroft. Made over 8k crowns, disregarding the tokens and materials I picked up. Even if I wasn't using mist energy for it, this would have been profitable. But since OOO gives me a daily free 100 energy to spend, it was actually pure profit. And I still had 15 energy left.

On top of that I had fun, can you imagine... I wonder when OP is going to request for that to be removed from the game.

8k profit for the run
0 cost for the run

You do the math.

Conclusion: yet another player trying to inflate his problems. The most profitable runs are definitely still profitable. Even on CE.

I was on all evening until like 1 am yesterday and the highest I paid for CE was 4800, and I bought CE a couple times that night. All the top offers to buy CE were in the 4780-4850 range the entire time. So not sure where you're getting your 6k number from.

If you post offers in the Market instead of just clicking the one (always much higher) price shown on the 'Trade' tab, you will save a bunch of crowns pretty much every time.
