I've been grinding Candlestick Keeps for 7 hours. No black kats. I was doing Weight of Darkness on easy and advanced. Am I doing something wrong?! I got 4 yesterday, and 3 the day before. This doesn't seem like the probability has increased. Actually It seems it decreased. I wanna commit suicide.

Yeah, random chance bites.
Yeah, random chance bites. I'm not much for speeding through Candlestick Keep levels without fighting anything, but I've run through stratum 5 on the Sapphire Clover gate somewhere around 15 times over the past two days, and I've found exactly zilch. Hell, I think I only have two random Kat spawns across the entire event. There's bad luck, and then there's this.

Game of Chance?
People are putting in a lot of time without getting rewarded. I feel they should at least get an encounter so that they can get the tokens. 7 hrs is way too much and getting nothing is scary.

Daym! Are you sleeping or going to the toilet?
Also, a piece of advice, you can't get the book by grinding, you can only get it by luck.
Me for example, I had just closed 2 hours of gameplay, I got pissed and thought:
''**** THIS! I AM NEVER GOING TO GET THAT BLOODY BOOK!''
And that is the second it dropped.
Also, farm alone in the dark and owlite keep, more kats there, good luck.

Funnhy story
When I started grinding for the pages, only found one. When I was just doing it causally, like do the daily prestige mission, then do an arcade run, I managed to find 2 or 3 Black kats. It's all up to chance.

Going on 4 hours of nonstop candlestick runs without a single sighting, as the levels keep generating more and more zombies and howlitzers instead. Amazing. Isn't there supposed to be an "event" or something?

To be honest ( for me ) it's no difference between runs before and after update.
Still pretty hard to find them.

Meh. My luck with Black Kats hasn't been very good, either...I'm still holding out for a Book, though. I wasn't around for the last event, so I really never got the opportunity to go after them.

i was grinding on the first 2days of the event and i found some kats but now i cant find nothing. i was thinking on crafting a kat helm but i wont spend all my time on farming kats .-. oh and there'se one my friend that grinds a lot of time and it has the 4star helm and 30 tokens already ç_ç

Yeah, don't spout anything about "chance". Sure, it's a chance based event, but at the same time it's meant to be an EVENT. Not gambling; this is a GAME. ultimately, it is supposed to be fun. Making anyone who wishes to participate in this event need to grind several hours without the slightest inch of progress is not fun, it's not "your fault" and it's not an event by any definition of the word other than encouraging people to waste time and potentially putting people off the game.
I always remembered SK being pretty damn good for making fun events, events that everyone could get involved in and excited about, no matter how much they actually made from it. So far, nobody I've spoken to actually seems to ENJOY this "event" as much as just "yeah, I want the loot". It's kinda like saying "I want money, so I'll go flip burgers. I don't like it, but it's my only choice".
This isn't work, this isn't life, this is a game. If OOO make events that players simply do not enjoy, then they are doing it wrong. End of story.
