Hello everybody,

I have been thinking that this game needs a goal. A goal that can makes us keep playing the game.
We should get more challenging content in that way I was thinking what if OOO adds another mode ingame. I find elite mode still to easy.

Mode Called Hardcore.
No Vita Drops.
No remedies.
No hearts
No pills.
And most of all No 1 bar survivings.
This will make the game far more interesting.

Second I was thinking what if the clockworks had an endurance mode?
How far can you go with your knight, Who is the best knight in game. Things like this make PVE challenging more people will try to compete with each other.

About PVP I find it all the time empty, I would like to see the rewards higher. The leaderbords of pvp seems useless to me.
I was thinking why not adding the brawl back to the game with the crown ?

If you ask me why I didn't post this in the suggestions section.
The reason why is that no one goes there and reads it. The general section it wil get more attention

Suggestion Forums is read by players who want to read and support suggestions.

You have a better chance putting it there.

Game called Hardcore
It's called ELITE. it has HP drops and Vials because a mode without all of that is almost impossible for 98% of players. And if we die, we just go back up and do it all over again.

Endurance Mode
From Depth 1 to Depth 29 gets you a survival achievement called Cradle and All. Doing Depth 1 to Depth 29 WITHOUT dying gets you survival achievement Dauntless Delver.

PvP Popularity
Its getting more lonely because more and more players are figuring out that its a P2W environment full of complaints and spam tactics. I no longer play PvP for the dumbnuts who populate it.

Brawl
It did not work because the Gran Faust could One Hit Kill anybody. Players where more afraid of GFs than Roaming Tortodrones. It had little variety gameplay.

I do Elite runs with Swiftstrike Buckler, have done SL lairs on elite with it.
And I have seen pretty much other players that complained that Elite is easy.

About the endurance mode you stated.
T1-T2 = nothing when you use T3 Gear.
So I don't see any challenges in your statement.

About the PVP you are right.
All Gear there must be without uvs.

About the brawl,
Don't you die in Lockdown with granfaust in 1 hit if you don't use trinkets and shadow resist.

You mention you did stuff with a swiftstrike buckler? How bout a t3 gunpuppy danger room without a shield?

Your "endurance mode" is where false difficulty is at its peak. Especially on MMOs. At least Daredevil Bouldergueist with Luigi (in SMG, obviously) doesn't make me frusterated.

One thing people don't seem to fully grasp is that hard and fun are two different things. Things can be fun, without being a challenge (For example, I still love running the IMF), and things can be a challenge, without being fun (For example, FSC with proto weapons).

If you just make something challenging, people wont even bother with it unless it has a significantly better reward than FSC (Which most people cruise through on auto-pilot, with one hand tied behind their back, and with a sandwich in the other). Look at Danger Missions for instance. Most people don't grind them because their payout is roughly equal to (if not less than) FSC, while being significantly harder.

I think OOO needs to either nerf the payout of FSC by a bit, or give another option for tier 3 grinding with similar payout, but with a completely different gameplay focus. FSC focused on large hordes of enemies, similar to how the RJP works. So I think it would be nice to have something like the IMF in tier 3: something that rewards patience and thinking, and punishes those who try to brute force their way through.

On an unrelated note:
I really want a PvP mode where all you can do is throw random objects at people (Jars, snowballs, rockets... maybe even random tables!). Make it so you die in two or three hits and then have a three to five second respawn time. Let the slaughter begin!

Those changes aren't challenging, just punishing. The game will be the same as ever, and I'll still be able to dodge Wolvers by moving half a tile to the side.

^ Yeah, lets just add another

^ Yeah, lets just add another dumb feature.....derp

@OP I understand your view (also I get why you posted here, people don't go to suggestions as often). I like tge idea of adding some sort of infinite mode. Be it endurance, infinite monster spawn, etc. Survival prettty much. Ut would give people something to get more bragging rights pointlessly.

I think it should range from a T1 jelly, all the way down to a 1-hit kill elite arena.

Canine, your counters are absolutely pathetic. Dauntless delver isnt even close to survival. Elite mode is easy compared to OP's suggestion. And PvP is full of idiots. But thats why we need more people like Qwote who derp troll te tryhard morons.

But to keep these pansies from wetting their diapers, you might as well move this to suggestions. Let it be another decent thread that dies there....the second graveyard.

my 2 cents

We all want an endless dungeon, that we can't argue.

However the game already gave you difficulty options where you had none before... The game is fun and hard at the same time, being too hard is not the goal of SK... If you want an extreme ARPG title that is almost impossible to beat, go try DMC 3 First US release on Hell or Hell mode...

SK is meant to be played by casual gamers as much as pros... putting hardcore difficulty so that 1% can use it is counter-productive. You are asking a game to change to fit your playstyle while some games out there might fit your playstyle better.

SHMUP and Beat'em'up might be what you are looking for.

Devil May Cry on Hell or Hell = you die 1 shot, enemies has Dante Must Die HP and Buff. SOOOOO HARD, plus DMC3 OG US release has been ramped up, normal US OG is the equivalent of Hard on the Japaneese version, that's why they remade the game into an easier one... here is a link to prove it

At the 2005 Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced there would be a special edition of Devil May Cry 3.[65] It included a number of gameplay changes and additional content. Most notably, players could now choose to play as Dante's twin brother, Vergil. Other changes included an added survival mode called "Bloody Palace" with a total of 9999 levels; a new Jester fight early in the game, with optional fights later; a "Turbo Mode" for 20 percent faster gameplay; and a continue system which can revive the character instantly, or allow the player to restart the fight they just lost as many times as they like. The game also has rebalanced difficulty. Vergil was made to contrast Dante's gameplay; While Dante was weaker than Vergil, he was still easier to control with Vergil requiring more skills to handle. Due to space limitations not all of Vergil's moves were added to the game.[66]

The Truths don't provide any Answers

There's a place for everything. GD isn't it.

Onto the suggestions:

Hardcore: It'd take a few tweaks I think, but while it'd probably be inexpensive and quick to create and implement, it's not needed.

Endurance: I'm assuming Canine-Vladimir has his counter argument as is because you didn't exactly have a lot of information there. Is this just to the core? Infinity levels? Or do you play through every possible level type, including boss levels and Shadow Lairs (all wolver den types, all arenas, ect.)? Are there arsenal stations at the start?

PvP: Don't care about it, so I'm not going to bother with this.

I have to agree with Skye-Lightning and Traevelliath on their posts.

Maybe you don't know, but...

Nick said it:
We've got some fun additions to elite difficulty coming later on. What you're testing now represents the initial release.
