Last time I ran out of Kitten hairs harvested during a waxing moon, and simply promised them my first born son. That's how I got a 5* Kat hat. If you don't have any kittens nearby, you can always use the blood of a snake-bitten orphaned squirrel. I think I once got away with a gold-coated newt, impaled on the horn of a 33.3 year old stag, carved into the shape of a Final Flourish (Of course).
Based purely on luck, though you increase that frequency via going to kat-infested areas, candlestick areas etc.
